Absolute definition of bait and switch and I guarantee they will reply to this and state otherwise but I can promise that this is EXACTLY how they operate. The dealership is very nice inside, friendly people but they are the most deceptive dealership I have ever worked with. Let me elaborate on my experience a bit… I came in regarding a 2020 Infinity QX80 which I found on Cars.com listed for $32,995. The car wasn’t perfect, supposedly had gone through a multipoint inspection which I call xx on because the rear tire was in the red for tire tread depth and would never pass an actual state inspection… I digress, getting back to the numbers here. So the car is listed for $32,995 on Cars.com and on their website for $32,895 if paying cash, WHICH I WAS. Typical back and forth dealership experience, the sales rep comes back with the numbers and it’s just shy of 40 grand EXCLUDING sales tax. They added in $3,495 for a certified inspection (not CPO, they claimed it was a certified inspection because it was through a Nissan dealership), $1,495 technology fee (I could be wrong on the actual fee but the price is correct), $800 doc fee and if I remember correctly there was another $995 fee for something else. I should’ve prefaced this but I purchase a new used vehicle about every 14-16 months because of my job and the extensive travel I do. I’m no rookie to buying cars. This is without a doubt the most deceptive dealership I have ever encountered and let me add one more thinly.. the sales manager justified the deception stating it’s a competitive market and he needs to lure people in with a low price so that his salesperson can build value once they are in the store. Stay away from this place, it was a waste of two hours of my time and I feel like I lost brain cells trying to explain how what they are doing is bait and switch. It was literally me talking to a wall. I’ll be reporting this to the BBB as well. More
