Pleasant and easy to deal with - since it was Covid-19 time they let us do the test drive by ourselves. Wound up with a 2006 4Runner in excellent shape, and crawling underneath it looked like they did a f time they let us do the test drive by ourselves. When I drove it home there was an overheating problem (failed radiator cap) and James said bring it back so they couldd take care of it. Their on-site mechanic replaced the cap plus the thermostat, because he said they wanted to make sure I wouldn't have any problems, plus filled up the tank before it gave it back to me. If we need another car we'll go to them first. More

The car was delivered 08/22/20--problems range from the front left running light not properly mounted in its frame, dried glue from a old navigation or phone mount on top of the dashboard--no amount of Goo Gone will remove the damage, a 10 inch crack across the burl wood dashboard, broken cup holders, a 12x14 inch section of the internal headliner hanging loose/unattached, and finally, my favorite. finding the ash tray with ashes, 56 cents in change and the remains of a smoked, rolled marijuana joint! Lol--these guys are ridiculous. Auto By Design is nothing more than a dressed-up, low-end dirt lot used car dealership making false claims, misleading its customers and offering poor product. Do not trust this dealership. More
