She worked hard to make sure all my questions were addressed, was straight forward and so helpful! Thank you! More
Went to Auto Boutique and purchased a 2008 Elantra on 4/3/2021. Price seemed good but had a question about the add on Zurich "paint & fabric protectant” and told them I do not want that add on. I was tol 4/3/2021. Price seemed good but had a question about the add on Zurich "paint & fabric protectant” and told them I do not want that add on. I was told by my salesman ‘Zach” that it is REQUIRED. I asked why, as I am paying cash and buying as is, no warranty. After 4/3/2021 the vehicle would not be in their possession and they would have no responsibility for any damage to it. It should be my choice. I was told again, it was REQUIRED. I went ahead and purchased the car as it was for my son paying the $199.00 plus 7.5% (213.93 total) for this add on. The issues today are: 1. There is no evidence that this add-on was completed while I was at the dealership. Car was filthy and still had dirt under the license plate holders. The car was, per Carfax, just offered for sale by Auto Boutique on March 29, 2021. If this add on was done before I even looked at the vehicle on 4/3/2021, the cost for this is on the dealer, not on me, the buyer and should not be passed along as I did not want the add on. 2. In the document given to me by the dealer for Zurich, it states in bold, “THE PURCHASE OF THIS PRODUCT IS NOT REQUIRED AS A CONDITION TO OBTAIN FINANCING OR TO PURCHASE OR LEASE YOUR VEHICLE.” There is nothing in writing that says this add on is “REQUIRED” as the salesperson adamantly stated. Based on this information, I want a refund of the cost I paid for this as it was NOT authorized, not completed at anytime while I was purchasing the vehicle, and that I was lied to as from their own documentation, it is NOT REQUIRED. The Attorney General will also be notified.. More

Liked working with Austin. I don’t like the pressure that some used car salesman use. He addressed our concerns and answered our questions. I did not like the pressure from the finance person to purcha that some used car salesman use. He addressed our concerns and answered our questions. I did not like the pressure from the finance person to purchase the warranty and gap insurance and the fact that I couldn’t use the car loan I already had setup. I knew what I wanted and knew what I needed. Make sure you know what your interest rate will be before you talk to the finance man. Wish Austin would of handled the whole deal but I understand the process. More
Love their set up. Testing driving cars was easy & I felt as though there was no pressure. It was a fast, smooth painless process & I’ve already been recommending them to anyone looking. as though there was no pressure. Found an AWESOME car & the price $7500 APPEARED to be a great deal. Communicated via text with the salesperson requesting the written, out the door TOTAL price. So, he tells me it is $7500 + $804 & change. great deal. Communicated via text with the salesperson requesting the written, out the door TOTAL price. So, he tells me it is $7500 + $804 & change. Ohio has a maximum documentary fee of $250 so the remaining $554 & change is fees BEFORE I pay sales tax. To begin, I'm out of state so I pay my state sales tax when I get home. So, the remainder of the $804, is temp tag, temp tag registration fee and a REQUIRED $499 junk add-on Zurich "paint & fabric protectant" whether you want it or not. I told the salesman, that is a dealer wanted add-on that 1) Hardly costs the dealer anything to add 2) is something you do not REALLY know is there (unless you're asthmatic like me & instantly smell it in the vehicle) & 3) is not requested by purchaser of vehicle, cost should not be passed on to said person. Salesperson responds, "Well this is our dealership & we do what we would like to protect the vehicles." AGAIN, why then, should that cost be passed on to whoever purchases the vehicle? If it is something you do to all of your vehicles because you are the dealership feel it makes the most sense, you don't then pass the cost for something YOU want on to someone else. How does that make ANY sense when the dealership ultimately will not remain owner of the vehicle? Aside from junk profit inflation, how does this benefit the dealership? Ultimately, it boils down to, if you decide to purchase any of their vehicles, you pay for what THEY, NOT the CUSTOMER, wants as it is a REQUIRED add-on if you wish to purchase their vehicle. According to the FTC, it is SUPPOSED to be your choice. The salesman said this is why we have the information regarding the Zurich "fabric & paint protectant" stated in the disclaimer. The disclaimer does NOT say it is required & just because it is stated it in a disclaimer, does NOT mean it is legal. So, a $7500 vehicle BEFORE ANY SALES TAX is $8305 ($804 & change rounded to $805) So had I purchased, adding TX sales tax (6.25% ➡️ $468.75 + DMV fees of $125) brings the grand total to: $8897.75 - on a vehicle listed for $7500. What they are doing goes against Ohio used car dealer statutes so I contacted an Ohio attorney & reported the dealership. Unless you want to throw your money away, stay far far away. More
