I wanted to verify that the color of a specific car was what I had been looking for and asked that I be contacted only via email. Instead, I received multiple phone calls from Marvin Salcedo, including on what I had been looking for and asked that I be contacted only via email. Instead, I received multiple phone calls from Marvin Salcedo, including one that broke the -proverbial camel’s back at 6:10 AM! I was jerked from sleep, answered the phone asked if he knew what time it was and told Mr. Salcedo in no uncertain terms NOT TO CALL US AGAIN. Instead, later that say we received ANOTHER CALL. This morning there was an email, still not answering my initial question but wanting to set up a time for me to come in. At this point, I am being harassed and I don’t appreciate it. I’ll NEVER try cars.com again and will especially stay far away from Auto Boutique Ohio and Marvin Salcedo. More
Great people, disappointing vehicle. My salesperson Jordan was very helpful. Overcame the problems I had and found acceptable solutions. I would have liked to have purchased from him. I would never send anyone to them. I drove over 400 miles to get a used vehicle and I walked away without it. I don’t even know where to start. First of all the COMMUNICATION is terri I drove over 400 miles to get a used vehicle and I walked away without it. I don’t even know where to start. First of all the COMMUNICATION is terrible.. I never dealt with one person I talked to Troy, Austin,Missy, Frank and one other person. When I got there to test the vehicle it was dirty, no gas so they needed to take it to three places to get gas because their card didn’t work, the back seat wouldn’t move, and 2 light were on the tie pressure and oil/filter which they told me they just need to be reset. Lie Then they asked me if I brought a check from finance company. I was never told to bring one their person was talking to them. I called my finance company and they said the never got the information from the dealers. When I talked to the financial person at the dealer he said he sent it but could find the email or any information. He sent it when I was there and me institution got it right away. So another lie. So We never even knew how much we need for the check and at this point it is Friday and I leave Monday so they would never would get the check in time. The manager was no help either. He kept walking away from me . The facility was an open concept and I asked to be in an office and they never did that so everyone can hear what is going on. THIS COMPANY HAS COMMUNICATION ISSUES. I should of read the comments on the BBB because that would of told me more about the dealership. RT responded but I don’t think I met with him. I drove 400 miles home and nothing wrong with my car. My friend Lisa never said anything about my car so another lie from them. SO SAD A COMPANY HAS TO RESORT TO NAME CALLING. I just stayed the facts Like Share Response from the owner 3 days ago Tina thank you for the feedback, obviously every story is written from a distinct view point (paradigm), and I hear and understand your review. From our perspective (paradigm) this is what happened: Within your review you spoke with five people and a lot of text with you as well, on 8/14 at 3:14pm (Lisa) your friend, came in to inspect the vehicle. You sent pictures of your trade on 8/15 to Missy (oops failed to mention transmission issues) beginning the process, you the filled out a credit application which went to Michelle (loan processor) for processing. Michelle began speaking with you on 8/16, this was your first communication with our pre-approval department informing you that we were unable to obtain a bank approval on 8/16 (same day) at 7:08pm we contacted you regarding the loan denial we were seeking for a cosigner or some other means to obtain an approval. You said that you are refusing to pay the fees associated with having Maverick ($275) a third party company that comes to you and verifies identity during the signing, protecting our customer against fraudulent or identity theft, and that your husband also could not make the trip, this is the reason you had to come in to the dealership not because of us and also the reason you decided to utilize your credit union. On 8/17 at 10:23 am Michelle re-reviewed the approximation on the trade with you, we then contacted your lender to see what they needed to process a loan for you, we faxed the requested items were sent to your lender at 2:30pm. On 8/17. One of our Finance Managers (Frank) also spoke with you for 3 minutes a 12:40pm. Yet we did not communicate?? On Thursday 8/18 you state that you told "someone?" (you failed to communicate your intentions) That you may or may not come in tomorrow (Friday 8/19) due to family and college, then un-announced you show-up, while we appreciate that you came in if you had communicated so that we could schedule an appointment or let us know you were going to show up we would have completed our pre appointment preparations (clean, gas, etc.). Ms. Piscitello as you are aware your lender (not ours) was contacted on your behalf sending a purchase order and copy of front and back of title so that they could process your loan, both you and the lender knew that since you are not using our bank that payment would need to be made when picking up the vehicle. I hear what you are saying, however who (besides yourself) would actually drive four hours to buy a vehicle without payment? We do not go down the road to the grocery store without money, or even clothes shopping without money; but a car, not needed? Was you thinking a dealership would just give you a vehicle and trust that someday you would show up with the money (who does that?) so come-on you knew that you had to bring payment. You brought us a trade-in vehicle that was totally misrepresented, we asked about the condition and you failed to mention the bad transmission, then even after arriving with your trade "bucking" down the road with transmissions issues you still denied issues, your friend even said she was not sure your car would even make it here, did you think a dealership would not notice a bad transmission? We have an A+ rating on BBB because we take care of our customers, if you would like a fair comparison on volume dealers take a look at Vroom and Carvana BBB pages. Keep in mind we are a volume dealer selling more used cars monthly then a lot of dealerships sell in an entire year. Where I do agree that there are bad dealers in our industry, I do think that we must also acknowledge that there are also bad customers, we all see the video's some people feel entitled to yell at workers, some go mad because their french-fries are not hot enough I think they call them "Karens" for whatever reason. If we do something wrong we own it; and strive to do better, we sincerely hope you'll do the same. RT I also asked to speak to the Manager and they sent Austin to talk to me. Maybe I should of talked to Tyler More
