This is the second car that we have bought from Paul Struma. We were thrilled to see him at Auffenberg when we stopped in last month to research cars. We looked at Mazdas, Toyotas, Chevys and Fords. My husband and I decided, at the last minute, to buy a new car. When I called Shaun, he spent a great deal of time over the phone explaining our options, both with financing, and packaging. No matter how silly my question was, he answered it clearly without making me feel like it was a silly question. When there was some part of my new car package that I wasn't sure about he would offer and explain different options and help me make my decision. After I knew everything I wanted in a car, including the color, my husband went to Auffenberg North to actually buy my new car. Shaun was so great with Craig...even going so far as to talk my husband into the black car I wanted instead of the blue one he wanted. He was even able to recommend a few people to do some specializing to my car so that it would fit my personality. I LOVE MY NEW CAR!!!!!!! Auffenberg gave my husband an AWESOME deal on my car too...even helped us pay off our Durango so that we could afford the new car payment. If we ever get around to buying yet another new vehicle (maybe a new work truck for my husband) we will be going to Auffenberg to get it. And when people ask where my new, sexy car came from I tell them to call Auffenberg North and ask for Shaun Stinnett cause he will get them out of there in a great, gorgeous car for a great, gorgeous deal!!!! I have bought many new vehicles but this was the first from this dealer. I must say I was treated with great respect and not pressured in the least. My salesmen Bobby Mitchell is on top of his game, and is highly energetic about his craft of selling vechiles. When making a purchase of a vechicle the last thing you want is some guy pushing you into a truck that you dont want, considering that you will be making the monthly payments over the next couple of years, not him. Initially I contacted you by the internet. After reviewing my information, leaving voice mails, and not returning my calls, was told by the internet manager they really couldn't help me. Drove by lot to look at inventory, met Ray, said he could help me. Very nice. Looked at trade said we could make a deal and I test drove several SUV's, then picked out a Mercury Mountaineer. Good price, solid buy. Signed a paper that said "Yes, I would by the truck if my payment wasn't over $339." Heck, yeah, I thought and felt good about it. I can afford that after getting back on my feet. My trade was paid for. After several days of getting documents together for the finance company, I was told to come in and sign. Ray gave me no indication anything had changed and said the terms were the same. Imagine my surprise when I went to sign the docs and my payment was for 4 years at @$459. Nice. Really? I asked where my trade was before we went over, because I had some other items in it; Ray didn't know. Finance manager says it's the best deal he can give me. Shocker. Oh, and I will get $50 to refer any of my friends or clients to you if they buy a vehicle. Are you serious?! I feel like an xxx and a sucker for even signing, but I needed the truck. Happy to tell anyone the $12,995 price for SUV's, but don't you DARE go without prior financing or pay cash. Better yet, try a different dealer; don't get suckered like me. You could have told me before coming into to sign. Honesty is the best policy. You got my deal, but I'll make sure no one I know goes for a buy. You'd be surprised how many I know and what I do. More
