Two weeks ago, I literally walked out of your dealership in Illinois in mid negotiation because I thought the salesperson was completely cocky, pushy, and arrogant (Paul Sturma from Auffenberg Ford North in in Illinois in mid negotiation because I thought the salesperson was completely cocky, pushy, and arrogant (Paul Sturma from Auffenberg Ford North in O'Fallon, IL). Yesterday, I picked up our new Escape from Paul Cerame in Missouri working with Mike Supp. Mike treated us right and was a good saleman. I'll be back to Paul Cerame in the future not Auffenberg. I have only owned Ford vehicles all my life buying one used car, 4 new ford trucks, and now a new ford escape so you have to be a big a$$ to literally cause me to leave a Ford dealership knowing I was going to buy a Ford product. More
Ben toon was our salesmen. The dealer didn't have the ford edge with the options but Ben found one at another dealer. (good) He had my wife and I come over and commit to buy before the vehicle was brou ford edge with the options but Ben found one at another dealer. (bad) He showed us a ford edge that had the my touch system in it even though that was not one of the items we had asked for. He informed us that Our car had the my touch in it and proceeded to spend 30 minutes explaining how it works. My wife really had her heart set on it after that. We then were taken to finance and the finance manager sold us on the extended warranty to be able to protect against expensive repairs with the my touch system. When our ford edge arrived to much our surprise NO MY TOUCH! (bad). When we asked Ben why he had told us our Ford edge had the my touch in the vehicle he quickly explained to us we misunderstood him and that he never said that. (bad) I then asked the finance manager why he pushed the extended warranty because of the my touch and he didn't have much to say also. I then asked for the GM to help understand the situation and he explained to us we must have misunderstood and it wasn't on the sticker(bad) Not one of the employees that worked their offered their apology for their mistake. (bad) After everything was said and done I looked on the counter for the customer review sheet that Ben had out earlier for us to fill out and it mysteriously disapeared. (bad) I then looked at our plates which had 2 months on them b4 they expired, the dealer transferred plates instead of ordering new ones! Why! They only had 2 months left on them. I asked Ben why he did that and he explained to me that this whole transaction with me was just a price thing and walked off. (very bad) I do not recommend buying anything from this dealer until you have actually seen, touch, and feel confident they are not able to lead you astray Before your purchase. More
My over all experience at Auffenberg Ford North was very pleasant and enjoyable. I was very satisfied with the lengths my sales associate took to find the right vehicle for me that fit my needs and that wa pleasant and enjoyable. I would never dream of buying a car from this dealership based on the experience I had when I broke down while traveling through their area. Not only did they hit me with an exorbitant bill, less than 500 based on the experience I had when I broke down while traveling through their area. Not only did they hit me with an exorbitant bill, less than 500 miles later I found myself at another Ford dealership needing the same repair. The other dealership made the repairs at less than half the price, and in half the time. I asked Auffenberg Ford North to adjust what they had charged me, but they chose not to help. I believe they are rip off artists! More

After some negotiations, Mr Mitchell and shook hands on a deal. He even wrote down on the hand written contract "One Key" which he stated was for the third set of keys, which we had shaken hands on. Now, after the check is written, he is claiming that this is againsy the dealers policy, so what he shook hands on is void. Other extras that we agreed upon are not forthcoming, either. Very bad experience, feel very much that I was lied to. Will not deal with this dealership for car purchase again, and will tell family, freinds, and complete strangers. More
We were always greeted with friendly faces. Our salesperson, Vicki, was very easy to work with. I never felt talked down to because I was a female trying to get the best deal. She took her time showing all about my new Focus and it's bells and whistles....I may be in a few times to see if I am forgetting anything! I was very happy with my experience at Auffenberg. Shaun did a great job for us in purchasing a new car. Shaun went out of his way to look up the vehicle and pass the price of the vehicle to his manager. Within 10 minutes he was back with the vehicle and the agreed upon price of the car. When the car was delivered, Shaun came in on his day off and delivered it to us. It was late at night and he stayed to show us all the features of the car. It was the best experience I had in purchasing a car. More
