There were no pre-owned Souls that I was interested in and I had my heart completely set on a Soul, so I decided to just go ahead and look at some of the brand new Kias, even though I didn't think I was going to be able to swing it. But Jared stuck with me and got me the best rate and a car payment I could more than afford. The paperwork went smoothly and I was in and out with my brand new Kia Soul! The next Tuesday, after finding out the deal Saturday did not go through I called Audie to set a time to test drive. When I went in that night I had already been pre-approved for a loan through my bank but Audie negotiated and found me an even better deal! He stayed for almost 2 hours after their closing hours to make sure I was able to drive my new car off the lot that night. It was quick and easy to purchase my new car and I could not be happier!! The entire car buying process from start to finish occurred in a few hours and included title, sticker, registration, and all those other headaches you have to endue once you buy a car! Eric was very knowledgeable, professional, calm, and friendly. This is the FIRST time we experienced a car salesman who truly respected us and listened to our concerns. Eric documented and addressed each and every issue we voiced, which showed he respected and truly cared about “us” more than making another quick deal. We started the car buying process a few months ago and then abruptly stopped due to the aggressiveness tactics, rudeness, and demeaning attitudes we experienced with other dealerships in the St. Louis area. We completely lost our car-buying mood and decided to wait until spring, but Eric Michel turned us around last weekend. Our goal last weekend was to stay home and rest after the holidays. The furthest thought from our minds last weekend was to look at a car, let alone purchase a car. We are still shocked we have our new car sitting in the garage. Can't trust the dealership to be honest. Purchased a used car from Auffenberg North . When we took it to be inspected for Title and Registration it didn't pass. We found that there were a couple major repairs needing done. We contacted our sales person who had us bring it in to the service department. The service was HORRIBLE!!! I had just put $1500.00 down on a vehicle that I expected to run well enough that I wouldn't have to put hundreds of dollars into it in the first 30 days. The service department had my car for 4 days and in the end I had to argue with them over a part that was replaced but did NOT need replaced. I ended up paying for additional repairs because the front valve cover was burning oil which I was told was not a repair the dealership would have done before they sold the car. NOW I'm out $300.00 because the repair had to be done for our safety and because of that I don't have enough to Register my vehicle. Not to mention that the finance manager didn't bother to tell us we would have to pay sales tax of $775.00 out of our pocket because we purchased in Illinois and live in Missouri. So much for trusting the dealership to tell you everything.. Now we've got a car we can't drive until we come up with another $800.00. Not a good experience. More

Both salesmen assured us that the tires had at least half of their wear life left. Because I was from a neighboring state, I had to get the car inspected. I did this within days of the purchase. When the car was inspected I was told the front tires had only 3/32 tread left. Since 2/32 fails the inspection, the tires were barely street legal and definitely did not have half of their life yet. I immediately called and emailed the salesmen to find out how they would honor their word. They refused. I received a voice mail to my work phone number on the weekend from another person at the dealership. I returned this person's call and left several messages with phone numbers and contact times. I have never heard from her. Obviously every thing that the salesperson tells you must be put in writing. I've dealt with others who honor their verbal promises, especially when told by a couple of people. Other companies would also realize that the customer deserves more than 1/32 of tire tread remaining and done the right thing. Auffenberg is obviously not that upstanding of a company. Beware. More

I was shopping around for a new car. I was not looking for anything brand new, but something with low miles and would get good gas miles. I do home care for a living so I am always in my car. I went to take a look at it and test drive it. I was helped by Paul Bauza. I did nit leave that day with a car, however I did explain to him what I was looking for and a price rage I was comfortable with. During the next two weeks he was able to help me get a car I love. I purchased a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu. I couldn't have asked for a better experience on buying my first car on my own. I will be recommending Paul to friends and family when then they are looking for a new car or truck. More
