I didn't think that modern day dealerships ran like this. I know you hear the stories but this place reinforced that "salesman" mentality. I brought my Audi in for service having it towed there. I had to deal with Gerald as my service writer and it seemed like it was his first day. I had to repeat myself several times and several calls to straighten out my repairs. Gerald didn't know any automotive vocabulary. It was a fight just to get him to add an extra oil filter to my ticket. He kept on pricing an oil change. So my car wasn't fixed when I picked it up a week later. It was blowing straight oil and white smoke out of the exhaust. The car had the exact mileage that I dropped it off with TO THE MILE. I guess they have a short test drive loop. So I was told my Gerald the next day that they didn't accept my warranty and that if I didn't pick up my car that night he would be charging $50 a day storage fees. They defended the position that they had fixed my car and that the engine itself had this oil leak. What I had was a blown turbo oil seal and it was dumping raw oil into the exhaust! This was even a covered component! So I had another private shop of my friends repair my car for real. Never been so pissed in my life!! Gerald needs to go back to the Hallmark store in the mall and leave cars alone. This dealership also has several poor ratings and open conflicts on the Illinois better business bureau for repairs! More
Went in to look at the Q5. It took some time to find a salesperson, they were all in someones office in the back. Joe Monlton finally came out to help us, and was great at first. When we told him what we were looking for, he told me they would need to locate one. We talked about price, and he told me these are HOT and they will go for at least sticker price, and that they do not budge from that. Wanting the car, we thought we would try and purchase one. With no call back from Joe, I called several times, Joe's response was either I am with a customer or, I got the dealer trade guy working on now, I will call you back. Several weeks have gone by and no return call, no car, so we stopped in at the BMW dealer down the street, they had what we were looking for, were knowledegable, that we switched from wanting the Audi to purchasing a BMW. Their Loss! More
Purchased car 18 months ago from same salesman (Bill) and Manager Joe was the best. My wife was very comfortable with prior manager so we returned for my S5. We were sad to hear Joe was gone. Ater sitting around for at least an hour never getting an accurate answer to our quetions, we were ready to buy, but not from this dealer.
