Problems Kept Cropping/Explanations Inadequate/Won't Return The battery on the 2012 Audi we bought from this dealer in 2017 died on their lot over the weekend--after no apparent problems? Chris's (Service Cons The battery on the 2012 Audi we bought from this dealer in 2017 died on their lot over the weekend--after no apparent problems? Chris's (Service Consultant) explanation was the battery could have been perfectly fine on Friday and just died after two Spring days of inactivity. (I received some discount on the battery work, as it was under-going maintenance. Still--had something been left on over the weekend?) A broken fuel pump was "discovered" that same Monday--after the car had been serviced and worked on the prior Friday. Chris's explanation: After driving it 30 yards on Monday, having it idle since the first day of work Friday, , we just happened to open the front hood and my guy smelled something and we looked and your fuel pump is leaking and needs replacement. This occurred after the Friday first day of "routine 75,000 mile" maintenance, the second of two maintenance services I had pre-paid for last year, I was told about a first oil leak, and had OK'd fix--although we never saw or smelled any evidence. Also, after that first day, Chris recommended we replace at least the front new tires--Nexum brand, not carried by this dealer--I discovered it is a discount "on-line" tire. So, the one prior owner, who purchased brand new from this dealer, had at some point replaced 4 Audi tires with cheapos; turned in the car, sold to me, without this looming issue pointed out. I came to dread every late afternoon "Got a few minutes?" call from Chris--what unknown shoes were dropping now. We have driven the car only 5500 miles since we purchased it, and only 2500 miles since this dealer serviced it in March 2018! What's more, as I was taking time to read the small print on the three page detailed break-out, I found a reference to the brakes needing attention in the near future. Nothing was mentioned until I asked. I also found a small fee for looking up their own service history! On a positive note, pre-appointment communications were good, the loaner was good; the worker who checked me in was courteous; In addition, the explanations I received struck me as hyper-technical--even though I made clear my lack of technical expertise. I believe I remained courteous and respectful through-out. While Chris is good at making small talk, the cumulative effect of this experience left me feeling intimidated and I will neither buy another car here, nor recommend it, for service or anything else. After getting to a point where we were definitely read to make a purchase, we stopped by Audi of Fairfield for one of their sales events. Our past experiences with car sales specialists had been varying degrees of negative. This was not the case at this dealership as we were more than pleasantly surprised. The specialist that we worked with was Jason Whitkowsky and he was a true professional. At no time did we feel pressured or that we were being sold something. Instead, Jason was very laidback and offered sensible recommendations based off the feedback we provided. Buying a car can be a very stressful experience, but Jason definitely made the process seamless. If you are in the market for a new vehicle and are remotely considering an Audi, I would stop by Audi of Fairfield and ask for Jason. More

worst customer service I have ever encountered I should probably go to Vegas because according to my sales guy at Audi Fairfield, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car when he sold it to I should probably go to Vegas because according to my sales guy at Audi Fairfield, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car when he sold it to me. I mean what are the odds of a perfectly good car ("fully checked over and inspected") starting to not only leak oil but also coolant within one week after buying it, astronomical. I beat those odds. On top that what are the odds that the warranty I purchased with the car doesn't cover any of it. Beat those odds too. Yeah, do not buy a car here. More

I have been having problem with oil consump I bought an Audi Q5 2012 from a certified Audi Dealer in 2015 at Audi of Fairfield, Fairfield Connecticut. I have been having problem with oil consumption, I went thru oil consumption test and it failed twice. They stated it costs $9500 to fix it. Needed 1 quart every 400 miles. I contacted AudiUSA by Email several times and I also contacted the manager of Audi Service Center in Fairfield, CT. I still have Outgoing email saved, not a reply/response. Audi Service Center of Fairfield. They are so shady, they wanted you to pay for it. The Audi Service of Fairfield Connecticut didn't even try to help me/customer to get audiUSA pay for the costs. AudiUSA refused to cover the repair under warranty. Consumers, DO NOT BUY any Audi, stay away from Audi of Fairfield, Connecticut. AudiUSA does not stand behind their faulty products. Shame on you Audi Service of Fairfield and Shame on AudiUSA. I will continue to write more about this on the newspaper. Never this life time will buy another Audi. More
Not happy - but the manager saved the day! I arrived at this dealership to make a deal, but they admittedly dropped the ball when it came to closing the deal. After losing my sale to another I arrived at this dealership to make a deal, but they admittedly dropped the ball when it came to closing the deal. After losing my sale to another dealership, Eric Brennan (the manager) reached out to me and was authentically apologetic. I'm writing this to let everyone know that although someone can make a mistake, the followup is the most important part. Eric Brennan gave me a completely new outlook on the dealership with his apology and would consider giving them a shot again when I purchase my next Audi in early 2019. More

The car had oil leaking to the side of the engine and the service manager there said it was “normal burnt oil.” I took the car to Audi of Fairfield to get looked at, they resealed the piece of the engine that was leaking oil, gave me a 2018 loaner car in the meantime and it was all covered. Always a good experience with them. More
