Incredibly poor experience with the service department here. I took the car in for 3 things: a recall service, a noise, and a problem with my navigation system. After taking AN HOUR AND A HALF to check me here. I took the car in for 3 things: a recall service, a noise, and a problem with my navigation system. After taking AN HOUR AND A HALF to check me in and give me a loaner (the loaner was having its oil changed, the loaner had no gas, etc.), they kept my car for a week. When I got the car back, the only thing that had been fixed was the recall. They completely ignored the problem with the nav system - didn't even address it. But the kicker was the noise the car was making. They told me that the noise was coming from a part inside the engine that was "critical to safety" but unfortunately it would cost $5K to fix it because they had to take everything out and put it all back in again to fix this one part (the lock carrier). No negotiation, and they pushed me hard to complete this repair especially after I told them I was getting a second opinion. Seriously, who just pays $5K without asking questions? Anyway, when I took the car to an independent mechanic, he accurately diagnosed the noise coming from under my passenger seat and found a lipstick rolling around under the floor on that side. He charged me $60 to fix it. Unless you like being scammed and lied to, stay far away from this dealership. More
No showed on a service pickup THREE times in a row. No communication until almost a month and told to pick up the car via text once fixed, even when advised they'd drop off my car. Received dirty. Although polite in person, these guys are a joke and need to get their stuff together. Going to sell the car to never deal with this Audi dealer again. More
Lonnie was very helpful with what I needed. I finally have my new car! Gabe at Audi DTLA sold me my car and was super helpful. He knew all of the information I wanted to know and was even able to teach me a few of the short-cut tricks in the car its car and was super helpful. For a month, I was being scammed by other car salesmen at other dealerships. I was so glad to finally work with someone who was genuine and helped me in every aspect of the car-buying process. This was my first time. I am so grateful to have my new car, thanks to DTLA Audi and Gabe! Def recommend going here and asking for Gabe. More
I went into Audi of Downtown LA intent on purchasing a used Q3 on 9/5/21. So, when I arrived, I checked in with the receptionist and was met by Clyde Oquendo. Clyde was nice and willing to assist throughout the showing and the test drive. So, when we were done with the test drive, we went back inside the dealership to talk numbers and told him what I was looking to pay for that particular Q3. So, he went to talk to his manager and was told that they would not budge a cent on the price because it was very competitive. So, I thanked him, walked away and drove away in my Audi S5 because I thought brand loyalty would mean a thing. Apparently, it didn't. They didn't even bother to negotiate when I was physically in the dealership with my family. So, when I was driving to lunch after leaving the dealership, within 10 minutes of leaving the dealership, I get a call from Perry (the used car manager) saying that he was willing to drop the price about 1500 dollars, which was not close to what I originally told them. I told him a few times that my max price was a certain price and his simple mind could not comprehend what "max" meant. He kept giving me a number that was above what I wanted to pay, and I said max was max. Then he said, "Give me a call if you change your mind." So, in return I said, "YOU give me a call when YOU change your mind." After that exchange, we both realized that a deal was not going to be made and he proceeded to hang up, but HE did not FULLY hang up before calling me a "xxxxing xxxxx" in the background. Which I clearly heard. If you want to deal with immature pieces of xxxx like that, feel free to go to Audi of Downtown LA. So, after we ate lunch, my family and I headed to New Century BMW and bought a certified pre-owned 2018 X1 that still had a warranty. More
Great experience! I needed to get new parts for my car to which Fredi was extremely helpful and made sure I was aware of my options and happy once everything was done.
