Taking advantage of the current situation. My wife went in to drop off her Q5 for its 55K service. She specifically stated she did not want any extras, and even passed on replacing her relative My wife went in to drop off her Q5 for its 55K service. She specifically stated she did not want any extras, and even passed on replacing her relatively new wipers; which they recommended. After a couple of hours the advisor called back and said the service would be about $1000. Since this was her first service after Audi Care expired at 50K she did not know what to expect, but being an Audi, knew it wouldn’t be cheap. She picked up the car, paid the bill and returned home. When I reviewed the 7 page RO it quickly became obvious that Audi Westmont slipped in $500 worth of unnecessary services that are not part of the 55K service. The Q5 is in perfect condition and needed no repairs per the inspection, yet they added an injector service and motor oil treatment for $500; doubling the normal cost of the 55K service. We have left 2 messages for the Service Manager (Jerry Mitre) and have not received any response. It is this type is thievery, and failure to follow up, that gives dealers like this a well-deserved bad reputation. We will be contacting Audi USA as well as the BBB to report this unethical behavior and complete disregard for our attempts to reach them. Potential customers beware, and avoid this Service Department! More
Corrupt, Deceptive, Shameless, Potentially Criminal Corrupt, Deceptive, Unethical. Never have I been treated so poorly by an auto dealer in my life. Audi Westmont takes the prize. Not only did they m Corrupt, Deceptive, Unethical. Never have I been treated so poorly by an auto dealer in my life. Audi Westmont takes the prize. Not only did they make every attempt to deny performing a prepaid standard maintenance on my 2015 Audi S5 under warranty; after they did the service, they returned my car to me with a Parking Brake Malfunction indicator lit and suggested that it needed a new wiring harness that would cost over $1100 to fix. I objected and said that the indicator had never appeared before taking the car in for service. They said it must have been a coincidence. I said it should be covered under my Certified Pre Owned (CPO) warranty but they claimed it was not. They ultimately agreed to do the service for $645 plus tax because of all of my trouble, but that was their best offer. This offer came from the service manager with the service director and service rep both present. All three met with me and denied the warranty coverage and sent me pictures stating that the wiring harness had a short in it. So I took my car back to Audi Hoffman Estates (where I bought it). They not only agreed to fix it under the CPO warranty for free; but after examining the car, said that the only thing wrong with it was that it was missing the fuse for the parking brake circuit and nothing was wrong with the wiring harness. The fuse was missing!!! Not blown!!! (Audi Westmont was the only facility that touched my car prior to the fuse being missing). Not only should they have repaired the car under the CPO warranty, but instead, they attempted to suggest that I pay for an unneeded repair. Please read the other reviews about this dealership. I am not the only one who has been treated this way. Shameful!!! I will never set foot in their dealership again… More
Unique blend of Crooked, Deceitful & Narcissistic Unusually slimy, narcissistic & deceitful; even for a car dealership. and I've been to my fair share of car dealerships, I know how they go. Good so far We are a loyal Lexus family (currently own 3 of their top models, 5 overall), but I decided to venture into an Audi A8. Kevin (my Service Advisor) We are a loyal Lexus family (currently own 3 of their top models, 5 overall), but I decided to venture into an Audi A8. Kevin (my Service Advisor) has been nothing but phenomenal in keeping me informed of progress, and makes no decision without checking with me. Note that I did not even purchase the vehicle from their dealership. Understandably, Audi is an expensive make to own and operate, but I have had very good experience through Kevin handling my vehicle. More
Worst ever This is the worst dealership experience that I have ever had! I first drop off my car in the morning and things seem all fine until I get into my loan This is the worst dealership experience that I have ever had! I first drop off my car in the morning and things seem all fine until I get into my loaner car, I adjust my exterior mirrors and go to adjust the rear view mirror and it comes off of the windshield and into my hand. I step inside the service area and tell the service writer available and they ask me to wait for them to fix it when I clearly told them that I have a time crunch and need to get going. After standing around for about 10 minutes I get placed back into the same loaner car and drive off hesitantly. After a few hours, I get a call that my car is ready and that one of the issues that I requested fixed would be covered by the dealership because of the loaner inconvenience. When I pick up my car and drive off I went through my RO and found that the requested repair is not fixed because it was "normal operation". I get normal Operation but why lie to your customer and say that the car is fixed when it CLEARLY is not. I will never buy another Audi product as long as I live. I have had 36 cars since I was 16 (25 now) and purchase a new car about every 6 months and Audi will never be another one. More
Worst Dealership ever Stay away. I was going to buy the car from them but they weren't interested in negotiating and wanted me to order the car then test drive it. I went Stay away. I was going to buy the car from them but they weren't interested in negotiating and wanted me to order the car then test drive it. I went to another dealer who was able to beat them by 3,000 (no kidding). What made it worse is that I returned to them for service thinking that their sales department might be bad but service could be ok. I was wrong. They told me to wait for 2 hour refusing to give me a loaner but the car ended up taking 6 hours and then they drove me home without a car. I tried to complain to the GM but he started yelling at me saying that he watched footage of the car and it wasn't 6 hours but 5.5 hours. I called Audi and told them that I don't appreciate paying 87,000 for a car and then being treated this way but their customer care basically said there is nothing they could do except file a claim. They need the dealership. I am never buying an Audi again EVER. More
Leon in service is great. Highly recommend. I have been bringing my cars to this dealer for years. They always do great work while always doing a little extra than expected. bringing my cars to this dealer for years. They always do great work while always doing a little extra than expected. More
