We purchased a used q5 plug in hybrid (about 7500 miles on odometer) about 3 weeks ago. Between the test drives and the purchase there was some minor damage to the trim above the drivers side rear tire; s on odometer) about 3 weeks ago. Between the test drives and the purchase there was some minor damage to the trim above the drivers side rear tire; scuffs and paint chips. I noticed it immediately as I walked around the vehicle and showed it to the salesperson. He said that it was no problem, bring it back in anytime after and they would be able to buff it out in half an hour. I said wait a minute, put your finger nail to this, it is missing paint which won’t buff out. Salesperson said that the detail department was great and would take care of it. I informed the salesperson of when I would bring the car back and was told that would be fine. Took the car in and waited almost 3 hours and nothing had been done to fix the problem area. Salesperson told me that normally to correct a problem of this type that an appointment would need to be made as the car needed to go to the paint department. I pointed out that I previously stated this car needed paint and I did what the salesperson told me to do. Three hours wasted. Made an appointment to have the damage repaired. Dropped off car on a Sunday evening as no loaner cars were available. Monday afternoon we received a message that the car was ready. Went to pick it up and found that indeed the scuffs had been buffed out but the paint damage had not been repaired. Salesperson stated that this was pre existing damage and we would have to pay to have it repaired. I told the salesperson that this was not acceptable as he had previously stated that it would be repaired. Salesperson said he would speak to his boss. After two days without any communication from Audi of Springfield, I stopped by the dealership and asked to talk to the sales manager. He was in a meeting so I left my phone number. Three days now, and no return phone call. The car itself seems fine but I’m extremely disappointed in the dealership. Expected better. You either honor your word or you don’t. Be careful. More
We were on our way back home and had Audi issues. We called Audi Springfield and they said, “bring it in”, even though they were short 3 technicians. Cody, the Service Manager, upon our arrival immediat called Audi Springfield and they said, “bring it in”, even though they were short 3 technicians. Cody, the Service Manager, upon our arrival immediately asked a service tech to take a look at our problem. He came up with a possible solution and said it might be two hours so he gave us a loaner car. He called us back in an hour and a half and had resolved our issue. 5-star customer service!
