I keep driving out of my way to another dealer for service and repairs. I Can't imagine ever purchasing another car from this dealer when the other dealer had never failed to fix and address my issues even with out making my sale More
I am not a hard person to please and worked in customer My car (2015 A3, ~25k miles) broke down about two weeks ago and I was taken aback by the whole situation: I've always taken my car for proper servicin My car (2015 A3, ~25k miles) broke down about two weeks ago and I was taken aback by the whole situation: I've always taken my car for proper servicing by authorized Audi mechanics, gotten oil change around the necessary mileage etc. The car dash flashed a message stating "Vehicle electronic malfunction. Place car in park and call services.” My first response was to call Audi roadside assistance. I spoke with the phone representative, whom was extremely helpful: she asked me about my car location, car mileage, where I was when the car went unresponsive, called the towing company on my behalf and told me what to do if I would not be present when the tow truck driver arrived. I asked the representative if I would be able to receive a loaner car until my car was ready for pick up and she stated that the closest Audi dealership should be able to provide me with a loaner car/rental car. Following the phone call, I immediately called Audi South Orlando to ask about a loaner. After my 6th attempt of calling and being directed to the service department, a gentleman finally answered the phone. I stated to him that it was my sixth attempt to get in contact with a rep in the service department and he responded, “Well hello to you to”. At this point I’m already aggravated: I’m stranded on the side of the road with a relatively new car and no idea as to how I am going to get to work for the rest of the week and this representative felt that it was appropriate to make light of my situation. I brushed it off and asked if it would be possible to get a rental/loaner car through their dealership, after all, I do make a monthly payment (on-time) so that when instances like this occur they can be dealt with accordingly and stress-free. The rep asked me standard questions: “where did I purchase my vehicle, where do I normally get it serviced” etc. and responded, “We don’t currently have any loaner cars available”. I responded and told him that I purchased/get my car serviced at the Clearwater dealership and stated “Okay, when is the earliest that a car will be available. I don’t have any mode of transportation for the rest of the week” (it was a Tuesday and I work as a secondary school teacher). He responded with “I don’t know”. At this point I’m getting annoyed because every question I asked was an “Idk”. I continued asking him when I could possibly get a loaner car through the dealership and he could not provide me with a definitive answer. He did not try to see when a car would be available, if he could get in contact with another dealership or anything. I decided that it was a lost cause and told the rep what time the tow truck was scheduled to arrive with my car that evening and he informed me that because the service department would be closed at that time (8 PM) that the tow truck company would more than likely have to take my car to an overnight lot and bring it in the morning. I ended my phone call with Audi South Orlando and shortly after I receive a call from Audi roadside (same rep whom I spoke with when I initially called). She went out of her way to call a local car rental company in my city and said that if I could get there before they closed that evening, Audi roadside could provide me with a rental car free of charge. I rushed there and was able to get a car that night. The next morning, Audi South Orlando called my fiancé’s phone to ask him about my car (I was at work and his number was the next one listed on the contact). The service department informed him that my car was currently at the dealership, but wanted to know where my car keys were. Uhmmm, hello. Was I the one that brought the car to the dealership? No. Did I pick and choose which tow truck company that was responsible for bringing my car there? No. They inform my fiancé that it was our responsibility to contact the tow truck company and figure out where my key was. Imagine hearing all this info while you’re at work. I was livid. Not only should that have been the responsibility of the service department, but they were completely unprofessional about the entire situation. As instructed, my fiancé calls the tow truck company (Larry’s Wrecker Service) and the driver states “I left the key outside the service department because they didn’t have an overnight drop box for keys”. What? Essentially, anybody at any given point could have leisurely walked onto the car lot, stumbled upon my key and drove away with my car. After receiving the info, my fiancé calls Audi South Orlando informs them of what the tow truck driver said and within 30 minutes find my car key. Fast-forward to later that day – a service rep (Jessica) calls me and states that my car battery malfunctioned and they would be replacing it free of charge. She then went on to state that my car model (A3) tend to have those issues around 25k miles (would have been nice to receive a letter just as they did when my suction pump was recalled). Two days later, I received another call from Jessica who informed me that my car was ready for pick up. I arrived that Saturday morning to pick up my car and informed the service department rep of the issues I had. He apologized, went over the proper paperwork with me and stated that everything had been checked/serviced, the suction pump and battery were replaced. I then signed the proper documentation and then got into my car to finally relieve myself from that headache. Before I could make it off of the car lot, I realize that my USB charger for my phone was no longer in the car where I left it and my oil change had not been completed (dash illuminates informing driver of oil change every time you enter and exit the car). My fiancé recommended that I inform the sales department, but by that time I was done dealing with that place and decided to call it a day. I am in Winter Haven and because South Orlando Audi is closest to me, that is my referred location, but after dealing with them first hand I will make the hour and 20 min drive to Crowne Audi in Clearwater to avoid dealing with the shenanigans in Orlando. All in all, Audi roadside/Enterprise (car rental) were super helpful and professional. Once again, the duration for my car to be serviced was within a timely manner, but everything in between was a nightmare. I will never get my car service at South Orlando Audi again. More

However, gettin Although a bit lengthy and time consuming, purchasing the car was a pleasant experience. We love the car and are very happy with it. However, getting them to pay-off our trade-in, per the contract, has been challenging. They have delayed the payoff by 26 days as of this writing. Now the payment is late and there is a late fee. So, the original payoff amount will not cover the loan. Getting someone to answer the phone or return my messages is like finding a needle in a haystack and I am quite frustrated. Today I left 2 messages with finance and nobody called. I called again and spoke with the receptionist, who relayed my concern to someone in finance and told me someone would get back with me sometime tomorrow. Update. Someone from the dealership called the next day and made sure my trade-in was paid off. They were very nice and courteous on the phone. More

Out of town used car buyer Thursday, October 20th, I did a car search using USAA's car buying service for a RS5. A vehicle, matching my search criteria showed up, but was 450 m Thursday, October 20th, I did a car search using USAA's car buying service for a RS5. A vehicle, matching my search criteria showed up, but was 450 miles away. I requested more information on the car and was quickly contacted by their internet car sales manager. Getting some specifics together, Friday the 21st, I submitted an application for the vehicle as well as a trade-in appraisal form. Both of these done via email and the internet. Some phone calls back and forth, and some negotiating, I settled at the final offer sheet for both the financing as well as the trade in, early evening on the 21st. knowing that it is about a 6 hour drive from my home, I relayed to the salesperson, that I would leave first thing in the morning and planned on being there between 2-3pm(1 hour time zone difference as well as a 6 hour drive). I received an email back from her confirming our appointment and I told her I would keep her updated with my progress on the drive. About half way there, I took a screen shot of my navigation and sent it to the salesperson to keep her informed of my progress, she acknowledged and sent me a picture of the vehicles VIN via the MMi, for insurance purposes. I thought to myself, I can't wait to drive that thing! She had asked me if I wanted to expedite the paperwork by signing some forms, however, being 6 hours away, not seeing(in person) or driving the car, I declined, but said I would like to get as much done as we could to help the process along. Believing that driving 6 hours was a commitment enough, I saw no reason why I should have to worry about anything. Literally, 15 minutes prior to my arrival at the Audi dealership, I received a phone call from another salesperson, stating, "I know you're driving from out of town, I don't know how far away you are, but you might as well turn around, because we have someone else signing paperwork on the vehicle right now". I replied, I didn't just drive 6 hours to turn around, I'll see you in 15 minutes. I arrived at the dealership, and shortly after I walked in, (5 minutes or so), the salesperson met me, I asked what was happening, and she asked me to sit down and that she just heard about what was happening and that she was going to find out. I walked outside in complete shock and anger. I cooled myself off, then proceeded back inside, where I was met by the sales manager. He apologized for what happened and offered to fill up my tank, and send me on my way. I refused his offer, and asked to speak to the GM. About 15 minutes later, I was greeted by the GM, and we walked into his office. He of course apologized and asked what he could do to make it right. I said, that you could make it right by getting me the car that I was approved for and I will be on my way. He, of course, could not and would not do that. During our conversation, he had mentioned that he has no control over who sees the vehicles he has for sale, thanks to the internet, and that he likes to sell to local customers. Discriminate much? I stated, that his dealership is the one who put it on the internet, so he has no one to blame but himself. I've given them 30 days to right a wrong, but have received ZERO communication from them. BEWARE. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. More
