Had an Audi Q7 that was seven years old with 700000 miles. Had it serviced exclusively at Audi Silver Spring. July 2021, I was driving to upstate new york when car died on the side of the road. I was then told that the engine had overheated (no light came on), and that the engine was severely damaged with multiple holes in the engine and I needed a completely new engine that would cost over 25K. Called Audi Silver Spring and dealt with Dimitra Anastasopoulous and Evan Singham. I had dealt with them multiple times over the prior seven years. They were helpful when they were getting paid for the servicing over the prior seven years but then completely unhelpful when car broke down. They told me initially it was not their problem and that I had to deal with Audi in Albany. Overall, they were very unhelpful. Did not facilitate at all discussions with Audi head office as to why this should have happened. They acknowledged that this should not have happened and said it was off warranty and that there was little they could do. Only person in all of Audi that was helpful was general manager at Albany Audi Rick Waldring. He tried to help us negotiate and at least expressed empathy and acknowledged that this should not have happened. Bottom line of how this "defective car" was handled was that Audi told me that I could pay 25000 for new engine or they would pay us about 2000 to scrap the parts even though they acknowledged that this should never have happened with the limited mileage I had and the fact that I had religiously serviced the car at Audi SIlver Spring. I ended up scrapping the car. I will never buy an Audi again. More

Have received consistently excellent service from Audi Silver Spring since purchasing my 2019 RS5. Recently took it in for 30,000 mile service. Service Consultant Julie Yoo ensured that I received all pre Silver Spring since purchasing my 2019 RS5. Recently took it in for 30,000 mile service. Service Consultant Julie Yoo ensured that I received all pre-paid services (some of which were, I believe, beyond their expiration date). Without any request from me, she recognized that the service duration would exceed a comfortable wait and arranged for a loaner. When I arrived for the service appointment, Julie checked me in, confirmed the services to be performed, asked what else might be done and then handed me off to the Loaner Manager in about three minutes. She kept me updated by text throughout the day. Brittany Flick quickly photographed the documents needed for the loaner agreement, asked for a signature, and then ushered me into a 2023 A5, which was sitting just outside the door, running and with the heat and seat warmer already operating. Another 3 minutes or so. I was back on the road less than 10 minutes after I arrived. Carlos Jimenez, the service technician, completed the service ahead of schedule and provided both written and video summaries of the service appointment with details like remaining brake pad depth and projected pad life. Julie ensured that I had received my service report and understood where to pick up the vehicle in the early evening when I returned. There was no charge for anything under the prepaid service agreement. My car was sitting next to the Service Department entrance and had been cleaned both inside and out. It looked better than it had since …. Well, since my last visit to Audi Silver Spring. The experience could not have been better. Thanks to Julie Yoo, Brittany Flick, Carlos Jimenez and the rest of the Service Department staff. More
