Audi Silver Spring responded

Ms. Jaffke took delivery of her Audi A4 on 2/28/12. Both she and her boyfriend thoroughly inspected the physical condition of the vehicle. They found a tiny dimple on the trunk and we gave Ms. Jaffke a due slip saying that we would take care of her dimple on the trunk. On Tuesday, March 6th Ms. Jaffke brought her car back to our dealership to have her dimple fixed on her trunk.. While at our dealership she went to her salesperson, Brian, and told him that she discovered a dent on the rear quarter panel while washing her vehicle. She also produced a check-in sheet that showed a dent on the quarter panel. When the salesperson talked to our Used Car Manager Mike Mizak about the situation in the his office, Mr. Mazak got agitated with Brian the salesperson for allowing the customer to leave with the check-in sheet when she took delivery. Ms. Jaffke heard the encounter between Mike and Brian and interpreted that Mike was questioning her honesty. Mike has since called Ms. Jaffke and apologized for his outburst with Brian and for her thinking that it was directed towards her. Because of the misunderstanding Mike has told Ms. Jaffke that even though we are sure that the dent was not there at delivery we are going to take care of it under good will.
