They KNOW what they are doing. I brought my vehicle into Audi Escondido about a week and a half ago to investigate an issue with my engine fan. The fan would stay on longer than usual after the ignitions was turned off and seemed to be really loud even during city driving. Audi Escondido diagnosed it as being weather related and topped off any fluids. No less than five days later as I was driving on the freeway a coolant alert appeared on my screen and I had to pull over. I phoned Audi San Diego explaining the issue and how I just had my car inspected at the Audi Escondido service center. They were surprised that Escondido could not find the issue. I had my car towed from Lemon Grove to Audi San Diego. Fortunately, Audi San Diego diagnosed the issue right away and found that it was a water pump leak. They even asked me if Escondido performed any recall issue. I explained that I mentioned that to the service technician and she said they did not have the part. This is the second time I have had an issue where Audi Escondido could not seem to find the issue and Audi San Diego seems to spot it right away. I will never take my car back to Escondido for service again. Audi San Diego diagnosed (which I had to pay a second time) my issue, fixed everything and I received a military discount. Damien Burton was my service consultant and he was very helpful throughout the entire process. I've had my car serviced here before and I do not know why I went back to Escondido. My car is no longer under warranty but that will not dissuade me from coming back here for any major issue regardless of the cost. More

I immediately checked it, but was not able to find a disfunction. The light seemed to be okay to me. Nevertheless, on September 19 I drove with my wife -before I intended to got to work to UCSD- to Audi San Diego to have the problem solved without advance notice. I assumed that the bulb needed to be changed and costs less than USD 50. After some irritations (long waiting period, approximate cost estimate not mentioned in advance) the paid amount of USD 483.65 was refunded by Audi San Diego which made me very happy. Wow! I am impressed by the claim management experienced by Audi San Diego, in particular of Mrs. Ingrid Knufman. This is extra ordinary and serves as a benchmark for other companies. Thank you very much!
