45K Inspection and Oil Change I was checked in by Gerald this time for my visit. He was extremely helpful and informative of the work being done on my vehicle for the 45k inspection, oil change and also a recall item. I let him know I needed my vehicle by the end of the day or I would need a courtesy vehicle, he said it would be done in time and if not they will provide me with a vehicle. I was able to pick my car up after work no problem, and the work done was covered under my service packages. Gerald was a lot of help and Nacho provided a great inspection video for my viewing as well. All around a top notch experience from Audi San Diego as usual. Thank you guys for being friendly and thorough! More
Lack of communication & poor results Generally I only have positive things to say about Audi, but this was not that instance. I had brought my car in on a Wednesday for passenger seat Generally I only have positive things to say about Audi, but this was not that instance. I had brought my car in on a Wednesday for passenger seat airbag malfunction, as well as Audi Pre-sense error messages. I was told to drop it off and, I would have the car back the following day, Thursday morning. I called the dealership to get an update before traveling to pick up my car that morning, thank God I did because there was no communication from the dealership that it wouldn't be ready, and then was told it would actually be ready later that day ("4pm at the latest"). Later that day, at 4pm, I arrived at the dealership. It was this time when I was told in person that the car would be ready by Monday next week instead. Again, no communication from the dealership beforehand, as it would have saved me a second trip to the dealership if only they had called me. I am equally, if not more upset, that the dealership did not communicate with me about the delays, instead they waited for me to drive in person to the dealership only to tell me to go back home as there were more delays in the service. The following week on Monday, the dealership was nice enough to drive the car to me when they were finished. I asked them to drive the car to my place of work, since I would be working late that night and did not care to drive back to the dealership for a third time (thinking i would only be sent away due to more unexpected delays). When the car was delivered, I saw that the passenger light was not showing the passenger seat air-bag error, obtained the keys from the technician and finished my work shift thinking all was good (albeit a few annoying delays I could overlook). After work I began on my drive home and noticed that none of my speakers were playing music and my professionally installed AMP was not connected to any power source. How this escaped the attention of the technicians and the dealership on final inspection, or even during the service is not possible. This must have been an accident during the servicing, and the technicians decided to ignore it or not address it. After waiting for my car, and after several delays that were not communicated to me before showing up to pick up the car, and causing a fault in my professionally installed sound system equipment, I have decided to write this review. I a generally a well forgiving and lenient man but this was simply too much. The indecency shown by lack of communication and the delivering of my car to me after causing fault to the equipment (and ignoring it before delivering the "serviced car") is too great to ignore. I drove the car the following day to my car audio company the next day to have my equipment diagnosed and fixed. I did not ask for any compensation from Audi, as I am fortunate to have an audio company help me deal with the fault caused by the Audi technicians without cost. They even called me, to inform me that the fix was completed without delays (imagine that). MY WHOLE point of this review is to inform you that if you have delays or updates it would benefit the customer to receive a call before he/she drives to the dealership to pick up their car. I can understand accidents happen, as well as delays, but I would appreciate a heads-up beforehand instead of surprises. More

I recently got my first service and worked with Jerald who has also been great to work with and super accommodating. Everyone I encounter is so friendly and it is clear that customer service is their first priority. When Shawn sold me the car he said it would be the first of many sales we would do together - a few months later I can definitely say that I agree and I look forward to working with this group in the future! Honestly, he's pro The same technician continues to assist me with the recurring mechanical issue on my car, and Damien is always patient and helpful. Honestly, he's probably the only reason I keep going to your dealership. As of late, the phone experience has been poor: long wait times with no one answering the phone in the service department. Not at all what I would expect from Audi. This was not what I've been accustomed to given previous visits over the years. Your employees seem overworked and understaffed (nothing they've said, of course, solely an observation), which is not their fault, but in my opinion one of the dealership's. This past visit, I encountered another frustrated customer next to me that said that he had been waiting for feedback on his car (while waiting in the front of the service department) for over two and a half hours. He was visibly unhappy and said that he would never purchase another Audi. Unfortunately, despite the fact my family is German and has always taken pride in owning Audis, I have to say this may be my last Audi as well. The vehicles seem to have more mechanical issues as of late (not just mine but also the ones owned by my family), and the service issues involved to have them repaired are simply not worth the effort. At one recent visit I had to wait 20 minutes because they could not find the keys to my car when I went to pick up my vehicle. The lackluster customer service, lack of professionalism, and poor follow-through are not what we've come to expect from Audi. Again, Damien has been outstanding through all of this, but overall your service department has hit rock bottom. Customer service is not about being offered a bottle of water; It's about receiving perhaps more than a modicum of professionalism, getting effective service on one's vehicle, promptly, and not being left with the feeling that the experience would have been better-handled elsewhere.
