This was the best experience at any car dealership that we purchased a vehicle. We highly recommend this dealership to all my family and friends. We will buy from them again. Absolutely worse customer service I've ever encountered. I had to wait 20-30 mins just to talk to someone. Finally, a salesman David Robbins showed us the car that we wanted to see and gave us some useful information. After we made an offer, the sales manager Peter Bearsch came out of his office and started a long & boring episode of sarcasm and series of insulting comments, which was enough for me to walk out of there instead of raising my offer. I am not sure exactly why this guy got mad, I was only trying to push my luck and get the car for a bit less than what they listed. While I was getting ready to leave, he also offered me that I should look at a car from 2001 :) wow Mr. Genius; Thank you for your suggestion, but I believe I can buy a much better car than 2001 model for $23K. The service department at Rockville Audi is horrible!!! My service consultant assigned never kept me informed on the work that needed to be done nor presented the knowledge of what needed to be done for th My service consultant assigned never kept me informed on the work that needed to be done nor presented the knowledge of what needed to be done for the servicing of my car. I constantly had to call to check the status of when service would be completed. Never once did I receive a call back. Significant time was wasted dealing with this dealership. I even escalated my concerns to Quinn Burroughs who is the "Service Director"... what an arrogant piece of work he is to condone the behavior of customer neglect of his department!! More
This DealerRater is LONG overdue HOWEVER (Purchase from 4/4/13), we NEVER forgot to leave one! This is how impressed we were with SEVERAL employees that were integral in the purchase of our Audi. When I 4/4/13), we NEVER forgot to leave one! This is how impressed we were with SEVERAL employees that were integral in the purchase of our Audi. When I had first called the dealership in regard to a particular Audi TT that was in AMAZING condition for being a 2003 and only having 22k miles, Jeff Eubinag was able to answer a significant amount of my questions truthfully, thoroughly and NEVER missed-a-beat when it came to an extremely cordial nature of keeping in touch FAR after the sale to make sure we were happy when other dealers usually forget all about you can unfortunately become "fair-weather friends” when the sale has commenced. Jeff is certainly a very positive asset to the dealership and has a keen ability to understand customers needs and upholds such a fine brand very well. Since we (me and my wife) were driving a distance from Ellicott City to Rockville, it was obviously important to understand what I could expect. Jeff is the reason I purchased the car. PERIOD! Otherwise, if I had a doubt over the phone, I would have never driven that far. Arrival; me and my wife arrived around 6pm and met up with Jeff who connected me directly with Mohamad, from there he informed us that there was already an interest in the car and we could relax OR test drive another vehicle which we had an interest in anyway that was the direct competition which had quite a positive outcome since we ruled out the BMW Z4 helping us feel 100% comfortable knowing we found the right car we were waiting for (Audi TT). I knew there would be a RUSH of people to look at this car and Jeff informed me while I was on the way that someone else had called about the car we were coming in to see. There were NO tricks, just honesty and we were so lucky to have purchased such a fine car from an equally fine staff and dealership. Obviously since it was a 2003 but still only had 22k miles on it, there was a simple brake adjustment needed 600 miles later that Tom Walsh (General Sales Manager) AND Jeff took care of without “batting an eye”. They stand behind their cars and do it with a smile and a friendly handshake. I will most likely go out of my way to consider a purchase from there again in the future and CERTIANLY take the time to inform others of our experience as I am doing now on MY personal time so others can understand what to expect since surveys / word-of-mouth means everything now. Especially when shopping for a car. Finally, the sales/purchase process went very smoothly and was impressive. Mohamad Mahmoodi has over 25 years of automotive experience and it showed with an ease of paperwork and transactions during negotiations between Tom (GM) himself and us (the buyers). Communication was seamless, quick and impressive through all channels so we could close the deal without nonsense. Mohamad even took extra time with us after close as well as Matt Diorio (Finance Manager) who handled all the final tag and title paperwork like a machine which was impressive! No nonsense in there either. I am trying to mention EVERYONE that had an important/integral part of our experience and how well it was orchestrated and how impressed me and my wife were and still are. Here is a VERY sincere THANK YOU to all of you involved. We are truly enjoying our car and being able to enjoy your car truly starts with the sale process since you can easily remember a BAD experience that eventually becomes connected to the car you buy since you never forget the first day you bought it. Thanks for making it special and fun to remember! Mike and Janice Scandora More
Summary – polite, convenient to metro. On the big 3 of cost speed and quality Rockville Audi goes 0 for 3. I spoke the the service manager before bringing my car in to advise him that I would be posting my opinions online and asked him if he wanted my business. He said sure. Mistake #1. Brought my 2001 Audi TT with less than 40,000 miles in because the auto top mechanism did not work properly, PLUS I wanted to repair the loose back window. Also wanted general maintenance. I said I was in no hurry and they could take a week. In summary, in 10 days, I never had my car mechanically looked at, I only got an estimate for the top replacement ($850) but not for the mechanism repair since no one looked at it (except that it would be $1400+ to replace) – so I did not have enough info for a decision. In 10 days! So I went to a local mechanic for the 40,000 mile service (not Audi of Rockville) who changed the oil/filter, changed plugs and told me that he couldn’t change the differential oil since he didn’t have the parts so I should go to the dealer. A couple of months later I went back to Rockville Audi and had him replace the top for $850 and the differential oil for 250 or so. He recommended I also get new tires for $1150 and do other repairs (oil leak) of $1100 (no way). When I got the car home I discovered the defroster did not work. Brought the car back (after calling) and 3 days later was told that they could not fix the defroster without replacing the whole top. That info earlier would have saved me a trip. Did I mention I live in WV and it is 80 miles to the dealership? And that I called every time to find out if the car was ready? Instead of listening to the dealer, I got 4 new highest rated (by CR) ultra hi-performance tires from Tire Rack for $440 including delivery and installation. I’ll find another mechanic to take care of the minor leak later – anyone recommend a Rockville Audi mechanic? Don’t go to Rockville Audi. I love my TT but doubt I will buy another Audi – ever – based on this experience. Two stars instead of one because the driver who took me to the metro was charming, and they did not steal anything or “cheat” me. Also note - I called a recommended Aiudi dealer in Virginia and his estimates were almost as high as Rockville Audi.So it is not just this dealer, but dealers (or at least Audi dealers) in general (with a few exceptions) who are overpriced. Note also that while waiting on one occasion I looked at an Audi in new cars, and on another at a Porsche, and salespeople opened the car door for me but took off since they were busy. I had much better service at Mini of Alexandria in 2009-2011, (for my 2009 Mini under warranty). And one more note - Max the service rep seemed like a nice enough guy and usually got back to me within a day but bottom line is results More
I had a positive experience at Rockville Audi. I am from Indiana. I noticed a pre-owned BMW M3 on Rockville’s website that was equipped with specific options I was interested in. As I was out of state, I asked for an honest assessment of the vehicle’s overall condition (any dings, scratches, tires, etc.) prior to my incurring the expense & effort of travelling to MD. Peter Bearsch, the pre-owned manager, took a personal interest in reporting back the car’s condition to avoid any disappointments. Given Peter’s report and what I considered to be a fair price, I decided to fly to MD to view the car. Peter offered to have someone pick me up from the airport, which was very helpful. My salesman was Jordan Stickelman. Jordan picked me up from the airport in the M3 and I was able to test drive the car on the way back to the dealership. The car performed as expected and the condition was as-described. I purchased the M3 and drove it back to Indiana with no issues. Overall a great experience. I recommend Jordan Stickelman as a Sales Associate. He was professional, personable, and prompt. I had a couple questions after the sale, and Jordan provided a prompt and accurate response, as expected. More
I bought a 2013 A8L from this dealership in September. I got a great deal and was really happy with the way that the transaction went. From the introduction to the test drive to the final paperwork, the sa got a great deal and was really happy with the way that the transaction went. From the introduction to the test drive to the final paperwork, the salesperson Chris Perry and the whole team made me feel hghly comfortable. In January I started to look for a second car and called Chris and told him that if the A4's were ever priced to move that he should call me. I got a call February 25 that it was time to get serious. If I wanted a A4 at a great value, now was the time. I bought the car three days later and got a fantastic price, a great lease rate and Chris even arranged for the car to be transported to New England, where the car was to be used. I was in and out of the dealership in less than 30 minutes when I went to sign the lease paperwork. It was so easy, I would do it again and again. I could not believe it. Thanks Chris for making this second Audi happen for me. More
