To say my experience at Audi of Plano has been horrible is an understatement. It all started when I expressed interest in a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Later that day, Tracy Crawford called and invited me to c is an understatement. It all started when I expressed interest in a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Later that day, Tracy Crawford called and invited me to come to the dealership the following day to look at the vehicle and discuss a deal. I agreed and drove almost an hour to get there. When I arrived, I found out the keys were missing. I couldn't even test drive the vehicle—I could only walk around it and look at it. To make matters worse, Tracy continuously bounced between me and two other customers who were purchasing much more expensive vehicles. It left me feeling like I wasn't valued because I was only buying an "average" vehicle. I lost an entire evening for nothing. I even told him to be honest with me. If those other deals were more important than mine, I would have appreciated the honesty. Instead, I was assured that my business mattered, but his actions made me feel otherwise. Two days later, after the keys were finally located, I returned for a test drive. Even then, the experience felt rushed. I was simply given turn-by-turn directions, and the test drive lasted about five minutes before we headed back. It felt like he was in a hurry to get back to more important customers. Despite that, I liked the vehicle and decided to move forward with the purchase. Once we returned to the dealership, no one took the time to explain any of the vehicle's features or show me how anything worked. The attitude I received was essentially, "Here's the vehicle. If you want it, you want it. If you don't, it's cool." Those were the exact words spoken to me. During financing, I wrote a check for the down payment with the clear understanding that it would be held for one week because I was waiting on my insurance settlement from State Farm after my accident. Instead, the check was processed immediately, severely overdrawing my bank account. That unnecessary mistake created financial stress that could have easily been avoided had the agreement been honored. After receiving the keys, I sat in the parking lot and started inspecting the vehicle myself. That's when I discovered the sunroof shade would not retract properly, preventing the sunroof from closing correctly. I also found that the low-pressure fuel pump appeared to be failing, and the windshield wipers needed replacement. Just one week after purchasing the vehicle, it was back at the dealership for repairs. Since then, the customer service has only gotten worse. I can't get a straight answer from anyone about when my vehicle will be finished. I wasn't offered a loaner vehicle—only a Lyft ride home. I was repeatedly told, "Give me 45 minutes and I'll have an answer for you." Four hours later... still no answer. Finally, I called the service department myself hoping someone could help. After giving my last name, I was greeted with the question, "Is yours the Audi or the off-brand car?" I was honestly shocked. That comment alone spoke volumes about how customers are viewed. Throughout this entire process, communication has been terrible. Phone calls go unanswered. Messages aren't returned for hours, if at all. And when someone finally does respond, I still don't receive a clear answer. I came to Audi of Plano after being involved in an accident, hoping to purchase a dependable vehicle and be treated with the same respect as any other customer. Instead, I left feeling like I was less important because I wasn't buying an $80,000 or $100,000 luxury vehicle. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of the price of the vehicle they're purchasing. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Would I recommend Audi of Plano? Absolutely not. If you're shopping for a luxury vehicle and spending six figures, maybe your experience will be different. But if you're someone with a normal budget simply looking for reliable transportation, don't expect to be treated like your business matters. More
Let me start off by saying that we purchased three vehicles in a month's time, and this dealership was the worst experience we've had in 30 years of purchasing vehicles...and I'm not exaggerating what vehicles in a month's time, and this dealership was the worst experience we've had in 30 years of purchasing vehicles...and I'm not exaggerating whatsoever! We purchased a used 2023 Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback from this dealership on 2/28/2026. We had two trade-ins for the purchase for which we ended up receiving money back due to the much higher value in trades. I could write a book of how bad of an experience this was...although it felt great when we were there...but I will try to make this short. First of all, the car is FANTASTIC - no issues other than the Inspection Due warning never being reset although they claim the inspection was done. The problem with this dealership is the finance manager, sales manager, and general manager. The salesperson was great...although he quit to go to another dealership, and now we understand why. 1) It took TWO MONTHS to finalize the process of the trade-ins because the finance manager kept giving excuses. We didn't get the check for the trade-ins (over $15K) until MAY!!! 2) We picked up the car a few days after signing, but it literally took THREE MONTHS to get the plates for the vehicle, because they were supposed to take the plates off of our trade-in but failed to do so. We STILL haven't received the sticker, so we are assuming they never filed the registration...I guess we'll find out if we ever get the registration renewal. 3) We called the dealership to talk to the GM in May, but he had somebody else call us back and then that guy never returned our call. 4) We wanted to purchase AudiCare, but the finance manager never bothered to get us the information after emails sent on 5/20 (twice), 5/31, 6/4, and 6/11. We ended up reaching out to the Audi franchise and found out we can purchase it through the app...like it was that hard for the finance manager to get us prices. 5) We sent two emails to the GM and sales manager on 6/22 and 7/1, and NEITHER of them bothered to call us or respond. Don't let the smoke they blow up your *** confuse you. GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP!!! More
