Carlos responded

Being confident on the work you completed on my vehicle and charging me $542 for that work when the vehicle is not fixed is not reasonable. The scan pointed at that wheel sensor specifically and why you chose to clean it instead of replacing it is unknown to me. After the history of the problem I left for the technician in writing what should have been done was to replace the sensor. I specifically stated that I had driven the car 70 miles before the problem showed last and that the problem had been coming up for at least a month. Your parts department indicated that the price of the sensor is $170 tax included. I will accept a refund to my card for that amount as resolution. I have already purchased the sensor and replaced the defective one.
