This dealership had the exact car I wanted so that is why I ended up going there. Amy was my rep and did not negotiate on price. She gave me a $200ish discount and that was that. Didn’t even seem open to discussion and said they’re moving to a 100% no-negotiation business model. They got me in and out within 3 hours including test drive, financing, extended warranties, and all the corresponding paperwork. Robert in Finance was excellent - went over all the warranty options in detail so I fully understood them. This is my 3rd A6 and this is also the first time I purchased additional warranties and I definitely attribute this to him and the time he took to fully explain. Based on how much I spent on maintenance, dents, dings, flat tires, etc for previous A6s, this should more than pay for itself. My disappointments were the following: missing owners manuals and less than stellar detailing job. They forgot to include the owners manuals and with a car with this much new technology, I was immediately lost without the books to figure out what all the indicator lights mean. They were closed the following day so it was a bit of trial and error. They agreed to mail the books to me since I live an hour away and a tech talked me through some things on the phone to tide me over. Regarding detailing (I bought 2019 certified pre owned), there are very visible stains on the inside interior ceiling and visor. I bought the car at night and didn’t see these when I did the last look through post-detail. I mentioned this after the fact and there was no offer to bring it back and try to have the stains removed. The car never had the new car smell that you get when a car is properly detailed so again, we finished up my paperwork at closing time so I think they were just rushing through. All in all a good experience in the sense that it was fast and straight forward and they had what I wanted. But the last-minute lack of attention to detail could use some improvement. More
