As it is in any car purchase, the amount of time spent just waiting around was painful. I don't understand why it takes 2 hours to close a purchase when all the parties involved knew ahead of time why we just waiting around was painful. We drove 4 hours to visit this dealership and purchase a used Audi my husband found online. They knew we were coming and my husband had called ahead of time (spoke with Mark)regarding the Audi music system used Audi my husband found online. We were told the car did not have a cable but that the parts store at the dealership might have one. When we arrived they were friendly and helpful. We test drove the car with Ingo. We looked at a newer model of the same car. Knowing we would probably purchase the vehicle we originally came to look at we asked if the gas tank could be topped off since we had a 4 hour drive back. We were told, "I would think so, I'll see what I can do". At this time we were pleased so even though we had a preapproval letter in hand, we agreed to finance with them as well and Donna was incredibly knowlegable and helpful. However, we were charged $65 for the cable which they scrambled to make sure they had. We asked about the gas and we were told, "Well, I tried". Now we're irritated but still felt like we got a good deal on the car. We were about to leave and we asked for the second key to the car. "That one only comes with one key." Now we're mad. We were told to call on Monday to discuss ordering a second key. Seriously? Being a dealership they KNOW that the car has to be present for a key to be programmed. There is no way we are driving 4 hours for a key. We will not drive 4 hours for anything for them again. I regret that we made that trip and I had my heart set on that car... but that is the last car we will buy from them. My friend bought a Dodge Caliber from a local dealership for half as much money and got a tank of gas for it... More
