I walked into this dealership and it was like a scene out of a Western: someone walks into a bar, the music stops, and everyone stares. I was undoubtedly the only person of color at the dealership that day, but they acted like I was the only person of color to ever pay a visit to their facility. No "How may we help you" or even a "hello". Maybe they thought I had their takeout, I don't know. Anyway, they eventually connected me with Brad. We asked for water, and the receptionist brought us warm tap water in plastic cups. Yuck. The test drive was identical to a test drive I had with a pushy Jeep sales person a week earlier - doesn't say very much about a luxury brand dealership. The annoying thing was, Brad kept answering any questions my wife or I posed each other: WIFE: You got enough space back there sweetie? ANSWER (BRAD): Plenty of space back here. Also, he didn't know very much about the car. When pressed to answer questions, he either told us to look on the web or asked us why we were so concerned about that issue. He was polite enough, but what bothered me was that he didn't bother to look stuff up, ask someone with more knowledgeable, or ever get back to us. Nothing. Zilch. Finally, Brad had the audacity to tell me that they could special order a Q5 from the factory with a nonstandard color for an extra $2.5k! The dealership in Tucson gave me a discount for ordering through the factory. Never coming here again. More

All of which sold the vehicles I was literally en route to see. When I called Jaime with Audi North Scottsdale he was friendly, gave accurate directions and promised to have the car waiting when I arrived. When I did pull up, the Element was in fact pulled right up front and I was test driving it not 5 minutes later. Jamie answered all my questions and was very calm and informative. It was easy to ask questions and have them answered honestly. I was SO impressed with him as a salesman, as in the past, my experiences had been awful, dealing with cheesy, overbearing, and pushy sales people. I always approached buying a car with disdain. Any dealerships I go to in the future will now have HUGE shoes to fill. Jaime is awesome--I could not say enough nice things about him and my experience purchasing a car. I also feel the need to mention, that while I am sure Jaime and his staff are more accustomed to selling luxury cars to the people that can afford them (not underpaid teachers :) ), I felt perfectly comfortable with everyone at the dealership and each and every person I even passed by was courteous and respectful. When it came time to deal with the finances, I was somewhat apprehensive, having had poor experiences previously. Greg was patient and informative and didn't bat an eyelash when I wanted to call or text a family member for a bit of advice on warranties. He himself was very forthright about pros and cons of the decision. I never imagined that I would actually be smiling and laughing during the process. Leaving the office I felt comfortable and satisfied with my purchase. Honestly, if I need another car, while an Audi is probably nowhere in my future, I will definitely go back to Audi of North Scottsdale to peruse their used inventory. Upon my first visit to Audi, Gary introduced me to David Silver. David is an Audi savant - he knows everything about the vehicles and was more of an educator than a salesman. Never once did anyone at Audi try to change any deal terms on me; there were no gimmicks - just courtesy, fairness and availability. Audi North Scottsdale let me keep a sample vehicle to try our and to ensure my wife had the opportunity to test it out as well. When we decided to make the purchase, David came in on his day off and completed the sale with me. Bill and David answered all of my questions, took me on a tour of the dealership and spent time with us setting up the new vehicle. I have purchased many vehicles and loathe working with finance/closing the deal because of some past bad experiences. However, working with Tara at Audi North Scottsdale was easy and informative. Tara did not use any pressure tactics at all. She simply went over the deal, walked through the calculations and answered my questions. Working with Tara was fast, easy and friendly - a trend that permeates throughout the dealership. This was an outstanding purchase experience and I recommend the dealership without reservation. What prompts me to articulate my incredible expereience with Audi North Scottsdale beyond the professionalism of the staff, was the condition of the car I received. "Mint" does not do justice to the prist with Audi North Scottsdale beyond the professionalism of the staff, was the condition of the car I received. "Mint" does not do justice to the pristine condition of the 2006 Audi A8L I received in California. The entire transaction was conducted over the phone! They had so many opportunities to hide a blemish. The wheels were new, even the spare, the interior looked as though the car just rolled off the assembly line, and the engine block would serve as a table at the finest San Francisco restaurant. I am delighted beyond my wildest expectations. Thank you Audi North Scottsdale! More
