They knew me so well that the first car they brought for the test drive is the one I ended up taking, because it was an exact fit. The process itself was short and efficient and my time there was well spent. While I waited for the paperwork to be completed, Prem took me to my new car and went over all the tech updates and features, all inside their air-conditioned release area. More

The best part of it was Prem Lawrence, my salesman who was not high pressure at all but rather easy to work with and he was very knowledgeable with the inventory and information I needed to find the perfect car. I would highly recommend Prem and Audi North Scottsdale to my friends, family and to whomever is looking for a new or used car. More
Unprofessional and discourteous sales service Let me begin by saying that my wife has a beautiful new Audi A3 which she adores. Here’s the ugly backstory. Understand, we live an hour and a half no Let me begin by saying that my wife has a beautiful new Audi A3 which she adores. Here’s the ugly backstory. Understand, we live an hour and a half north of the dealership so the luxury of stopping in to work a deal and test drive cars is not convenient whatsoever. At the same time on Friday our salesman, Michael Hagen first introduced the idea of my moving out of my Subaru into an A6 TDI diesel. I was more interested in getting my wife a car than worrying about me but the seed got planted. On Saturday when we went down the hill to pick up her car I test drove it and was moderately impressed and decided to do some research. My issue is that I drive a LOT. Like 40,000 to 50,000 miles a year, so reliability is important. This car, being a diesel, was presented as fitting the bill which it should as a diesel. It was plush, it was comfortable and I was hooked. I was handed a “quote”, and the salesman indicated it was probably high. We agreed I would take it home with me and respond, and even agreed on a number for the discount. I mentioned a number and he felt that it would be an appropriate number to present. Yes, I decided it was time to get back into a sedan and dump the Outback. WELL, I wrote the salesman Monday. Nothing. No contact whatsoever. Granted, he said Sunday and Monday were his days off, but he also said that as he was leaving on vacation the next weekend and he was working Monday. I called. I e-mailed. I texted. I spoke with the finance/sales manager. He had gone in but no response - no rejection, no counter, nothing. He finally called at 5:30 or 6:00 and said he sold 2 1/2 cars on his day off so left to be with his sons and drive go carts. I applauded his decision and apologized if I was insulting or out of line. He assured me that I was not and he confirmed receipt of my e-mail, indicating he would get back to me Tuesday, today. I wrote a follow up email, explaining my offer and the basis for the price stated. This is a car purchase and negotiation is expected. Nothing. Again, no “sorry”, no counter. Nothing. I called again, and around 9:30 he answered. He said his sales manager had just gotten in and was waving a paper at him and that he would get back to me but that things were working. I explained again I was going out of town on business and that I would complete paperwork via email, arrange for any earnest money required and would be down Friday or Saturday to conclude things before his vacation. I am a busy professional and don't have leisure time to spend on a deal and wanted to get things done one way or another. Still nothing. I called again around 1:30 and was unable to get a response so I asked for a manager. An Aaron or Erik answered and was obviously having a conversation with someone else before finally addressing me. He apologized, saying something had happened last evening at 5:30 and he needed to check things but would get back to me. He knew I was upset by my tone as a result of their lack of professional courtesy, especially when I just bought a car from them three days earlier. I was courteous and direct, but obviously upset. I researched while waiting the 39 minutes for a call back, to find that the leader of Audi had issues related to the diesel problem. I saw that Germany recalled like 775,000 units. Well, when he called back the first thing he mumbled was something about I needed to go into a ventilated seat, which I took as his conversation with someone else. He then said they could not sell the TDI units. Something indiscernible about some program or something. Long and short of it - this dealership lacks the professionalism I would expect for the brand. As I sit here, at 7:38pm, I still have not heard from the salesman. So I called another Audi dealer. They DID have an A6 diesel for sale. They WERE able to sell it. Audi North Scottsdale is the most unprofessional, discourteous dealership I have ever dealt with. Never, from Mercedes, to Acura, to Subaru have I been dealt with in such an insulting manner. Prologue: The salesman sent me a text after 8:00 tonight, telling me that as a result of his working deals all day he was unable to get back to me, and that I needed to talk to Aaron to find a "Win-Win". Funny, as he had my deal to work on for two days and obviously did nothing but insult me and lose his dealership a deal and another - repeat customer. Stay away. More

After 15 years of driving a car I loved... making a purchase of another car I would love as much, was important. Michael Hagen listened carefully to what I wanted and needed in my new car... and that was exactly where he guided me. No pressure! He spent a few hours with us and answered all questions. I am now a proud owner of an Audi A3! I look forward to the next 15 years in my “new ride!” Thank you! More
