I made an appointment for a Recall repair. I took a day off work for this appointment. I am already in your service system, and you have my VIN. improper reset on-board computer dear audi meadowlands service manager, i brought my A4 car to you because that's where we bought it and the computer told us that an oil change was dear audi meadowlands service manager, i brought my A4 car to you because that's where we bought it and the computer told us that an oil change was needed. when i got it back, you had also performed a 30,000 mile service which was totally unnecessary because the car had only about 19,500 miles on. this past monday i took the A4 to a NYS inspection station to get a new sticker. the station informed me that Audi Meadowlands had improperly reset the on-board computer and the car FAILED the inspection. only after the inspection station reset the computer at an additional cost of $120 + tax to me, where they able to get an inspection done and i got my new sticker. if that is the best Audi Meadowlands can do, i will get my car serviced at another Audi dealer from now on. michael nischk More
