Tech also recommended a full front brake replacement (pads + rotors) for $1,575 + tax. Why would I need new rotors if their service department already did a full front brake replacement (pads + rotors) less than 2 years ago for $1123 +tax? More

I have a specialty ceramic coatin Horrible service. I brought in my vehicle for service and repair from January 5th, 2021 - January 8th, 2021. I have a specialty ceramic coating on my vehicle that requires a specialized cleaning process, or it is damaged. Because of this, I decline washes at any service department I visit. This is my third visit to this Audi service department to fix the same vent issue that has persisted, despite their claims of "fixing" it. I verbally requested that my car was to not be washed during the service visit because the ceramic coating requires special care, otherwise it is damaged and no longer protective. This is the same request I have made during each visit prior. I also had Yvonne (the intake rep) notate in writing the "no wash" request on the service form, to ensure that anyone working on the vehicle would also be aware of the request and so that there was no question about my intention. Lastly, I hung a warning tag from my rearview mirror that states in big bold lettering: Washing, decontaminating, or polishing without proper knowledge or technique may cause damage to the coating and you will be held liable for correction or replacement of CQuartz Professional. DO NOT WASH WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM OWNER WARNING DO NOT WASH At pickup, I noticed that my car had been washed -- and quite terribly. There were huge dirt/dust patches all over. Yvonne then confirmed to me that the service department did in fact receive her notes in writing (since it also includes what is wrong with the vehicle and the reason for servicing in the first place), and that they had also seen the hang tag, and that she "weren't sure why they ignored it". I'm pretty upset at the disregard for my simple request -- one that I went above and beyond to ensure was documented and understood -- as well as the fact that no one from your department has reached out to me to 1.) apologize, or 2.) followup on. In fact, I just received a rude call on Jan 28th, 2021 from the service department manager who said they washed the car properly and that was that. xxx? The wash job that was done (despite my repeated requests for it not to have been) was not thorough at all. There were dozens of dirty, unwashed spots. Is this the level of service you provide for all of your services? At this point, I have no trust in your service department to follow basic requests or to provide the attention to detail that I believe is required for good automotive servicing. To further my point, I've already had to visit again for the same vent issue that was not properly fixed the first time. AVOID this service department at all costs. My lawyer will be reaching out shortly about damages, since you refuse to acknowledge damage sustained. More
