This is the 2nd lease with same dealership. Both times the experience was smooth. Didn’t have to wait to finalize paperwork to close the sales. I had a very disappointing experience with Audi of Meadowlands and Sales Rep Michael Boden. We went in to lease a new Audi Q7 2023, and crucial information about the safety/driver assistance features Meadowlands and Sales Rep Michael Boden. We went in to lease a new Audi Q7 2023, and crucial information about the safety/driver assistance features missing in the car we were leasing was not disclosed to us. These features are base Audi Q7 features. At first, Michael sent us the listing of a different 2023 Q7. While negotiating on price and monthly lease amount, he changed the Q7 that we were looking at, saying the previous one was been sold. He then sent us a temporary link to the listing of the car, which stopped working after a while. The car we did a test drive of 2023 Q7 had all these features, and he never mentioned that the car we were leasing did not have these base features. Michael did not send us the sticker for the vehicle, and is now claiming that he did send us the sticker with the detailed features of the vehicle. He has been very pushy and aggressive since I started to communicate with him. He kept trying to pressure me into buying a car and asking for deposit without all the details been disclosed, and he further refused to listen to my needs. We met the Manager on the day of signing the lease contract. The manager was just as bad as the Sales Rep. He was condescending and rude, and he made us feel like we were wasting his time and hurried to complete the paperwork. The moment we got the car home, it started showing errors on the screen. We had to schedule a service appointment, get a loaner car, and have the errors resolved. We then found out that the driver assistance features are not working in the car, and scheduled another service appointment, which we got after a month. After we took the Q7 to the service center, they informed us that these features never existed in this car. We are very surprised to know that Audi has a car with missing such key safety driver assistance features, which are standard in any basic car these days. I am also extremely disappointed with how Audi Meadowlands sneakily concealed the fact that these features were missing in this car just to get the sale at the end of the month. Here are some specific reasons why I am giving this review: - The salesperson, Michael Boden, was dishonest and didn’t disclose key missing safety and driver assistance features between two Q7’s that were in negotiation from us. - The dealership, Audi of Meadowlands, was complicit in this deception. - The car we leased did not have the features that we were promised initially. - The dealership is denying to resolve the issue. We are communicating with Audi USA to report and escalate this incident, and hope they will help resolve our issue. If, still not resolved we are looking to file an official complaint with Better Business Bureau. Overall, I had a very negative experience at Audi of Meadowlands. We would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Please be aware and check every detail when working with Michael Boden and Audi of Meadowlands before buying or leasing a car. I hope that Audi Meadowlands management will take my feedback seriously and make necessary changes. More
