Even on vacation, he made sure that by the time he was back, we finalized/coordinated seamlessly. Thanks Eddie! I’ll see you soon for that Etron GT! 😂 More
My experience with the management at this dealership has been one of the worst customer service encounters I have ever been involved with. I am at a loss attempting to understand the lack of pride and integrity of the management they employ. On 31 August 2022, I contacted Jim Ellis Audi Marietta seeking to purchase a specific pre-owned vehicle that I found on their online webpage. I began my communication with Kristin, who confirmed the vehicle I was interested in was, in fact, on their lot and available for purchase. She and I spoke several times working toward an agreement on numbers for the purchased vehicle and my trade-in vehicle. An agreement was reached on 01 September 2022, and Kristin submitted documents to me for signature in addition to a request for a deposit via credit card. On 02 September 2022, I requested that Kristin personally view the vehicle for any damage and prepare it for delivery as this transaction was remote. Upon her examination, Kristin found a small scratch that she stated could easily be fixed “in-house”. Later that evening, Kristin phoned to say the department that handles those repairs was closed and would not re-open until 06 September 2022. With the Labor Day holiday, I understood the situation and we agreed that I would take ownership of the vehicle once the repairs were made on 06 September 2022 and the vehicle was delivered that evening. To complete the transaction, the finance manager, Scott, contacted and submitted to me a buyer’s order so a check could be issued from my bank. At this time, insurance information was requested, and the protocol attempts for up-sale took place. I contacted my insurance agent, added the vehicle to my policy, and proceeded to obtain the cashier’s check from my bank. I showed my wife pictures of her new vehicle informing her that it would be delivered on Tuesday, 06 September 2022. She was very excited and even commented that we should go ahead and buy our daughter’s vehicle from their facility as her birthday is approaching. 03 September 2022, everything changed. I received a phone call from Ethan, who identified himself as the Used Car Manager. I was expecting a “thank you” or “congratulations” for purchasing a vehicle from Jim Ellis Audi Marietta, however, that is not what I received. Ethan stated, “Hey, we sold your car to someone else a month ago, and they just came to pick it up.” I was and am still awe-struck at the blatant lie this individual had shared with me. It is clearly visible on the Carfax report that the vehicle was purchased by Jim Ellis Audi Marietta at the auction less than a month ago. How could they have sold it a month ago if they didn’t even own it at that time? During my conversation with Ethan, I inquired how this could happen given the multiple phone calls, texts, emails, signatures, and even a deposit ensuring this transaction was in good faith on both sides. I also questioned what procedures were in place to prevent this sort of massive ‘mistake’ from taking place. Unfortunately, Ethan had nothing to say other than “sorry”. A few hours after my initial conversation with Ethan we spoke again, and I questioned him regarding his deceitful comment involving the timeline of the vehicle’s sale date. At this time, Ethan stated it sold “last month” (as the end of August was 3 days prior). I realized at this time, Ethan was a liar, who was not interested in customer service at all. As my frustration grew, I insisted that I receive a comparable vehicle to the one I had contracted. Ethan stated that they did not have anything on their lot but, would try to find “something.” I requested for a vehicle to be delivered as promised on the evening of 06 September 2022, to which Ethan stated, “I’ll try.” On 06 September 2022, Ethan called to inform me that he had located a replacement vehicle comparable to the original that was contracted. Unfortunately, Ethan had the audacity to ask me to pay $6,000.00 more for this comparable vehicle than I had contracted for the original. I declined his offer. Not to disappoint, Ethan was prepared with a second option. This vehicle was one that I had previously viewed online. It was not what I originally wanted but, it was acceptable. However, Ethan wanted to charge me almost $4,000.00 more than the listed price online. I also declined that offer. I am sorely disappointed with my experience. Never have I ever had this hard of a time spending money. I did not receive a vehicle from Jim Ellis Marietta Audi as agreed and they still have my down payment. I have waisted countless hours trying to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, and I would not recommend this frustration to anyone. However, I do feel bad for the sales rep that was cheated out of her commission by her own management. If you choose to do business with this dealership, be very cautious. The unethical practices of upper management in this organization are unsettling. There are plenty of other dealerships in this country and I would go to another state to buy a vehicle, new or used, before looking at anything associated with Jim Ellis Marietta Audi. More

He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the Audi I purchased. He made the sales process very enjoyable. Additionally his post sales follow up and support have been above par. He even took phone calls from me late in evening with the questions I had as this is my first electric vehicle. I give Christian a SUPERB rating! More
