I have owned my Audi A4 since 2004. I have always taken it to the Schaumburg Audi dealer. Most of the time I have been taken care of by Ted McConnell. Working with Ted and the entire Schaumburg Audi staff it to the Schaumburg Audi dealer. Most of the time I have been taken care of by Ted McConnell. Working with Ted and the entire Schaumburg Audi staff has been a real pleasure. I have never looked forward to going to a car dealer before to get service. Ted and the others I come in contact with at the dealer have always made it a pleasant experience. There is a comfortable are in which to work with internet access and coffee while waiting for my car to be serviced. Because of the quality experience I have had with my Audi A4 and the exceptional customer service at the Schaumburg Audi dealer, I will definitely plan to buy my next Audi from them. After reading some positive reviews about this dealership, I suspect that they were most likely written by their own employees to try and hide the truth about how poorly you and your car will be t dealership, I suspect that they were most likely written by their own employees to try and hide the truth about how poorly you and your car will be treated if you go there. I had several bad experiences with them where they will try to charge you for repairs covered under warranty and you can guarantee that your car will be worse off when you get it back. My case is not alone. I have had friends and family have similar experiences there. If you already made the mistake of buying a car from this stealership, make sure NOT to get it serviced there otherwise you will regret it. I am happy that DealerRater came along so other innocent people can be protected from the scams of dishonest dealers like Schaumburg Audi. If you have an Audi and live in the Chicago area do yourself a favor and make the trip to Continental Audi to get decent service. My friends and family live close to Schaumburg Audi but drive out of their way to get their car serviced in Naperville for their peace of mind. I sincerely hope this note reaches someone who is considering Schaumburg Audi and decides to take their car elsewhere. It will save them much stress and heartache. More
Worked with Brian Hall on servicing my Audi after traveling in from out of state. For an anonymous Audi customer in a bind, he and his staff were helpful, informative and friendly thru the entire exp traveling in from out of state. For an anonymous Audi customer in a bind, he and his staff were helpful, informative and friendly thru the entire experience. Price point was good considering work performed, very competitive rate and done in a timely fashion. Customer area was clean with coffee and seating. I would definitely recommend this dealership. I brought my car in for routine maintenance, Ted wrote it up and was very sincere and honest when presenting the repairs. Derek helped me near the end of the day and helped to reexplain the repairs and maint up and was very sincere and honest when presenting the repairs. Derek helped me near the end of the day and helped to reexplain the repairs and maintenance that was performed. Both guys were very helpful and seemed genuinely excited to have me as a client. I would recommend anyone to see either of these guys, also I have had pleasant experiences with Ed and the other service writer there (can't remember his name right now). More
Had my car in for the coil pack recall. They did a horrible job. Stripped my coil harness wire and stripped my coil pack screws. They were scratches on my car that weren't there before. Wheels stolen off of car on dealership lot ** updated with result ** Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now! I left my car at Schaumburg Audi for 5k service on Saturday. I was supposed to pick it up the same day, but they leave me a VM 5 minutes before closing time telling me to come pick it up. WTF. So today comes and I get a call from the service guy, Ted. So before he starts talking, I tell him that I'd be happy to pick the car up after work. He proceeds to tell me that I can't. I go wtf?! and he, without any hint of apology whatsoever, tells me that the wheels (Hartmann 19" RS4 reps) have been stolen off of my car. I was in shock. This is one one of the better/bigger Audi dealers in Chicago/NW Suburb area... mind you. I ask him if they had the video rolling. Ted tells me that it wasn't working at the time. How the F does a car dealership have a non-functioning video camera over a weekend? I thought "BS!" but went with it. I ask him if the car is sitting on bricks and he tells me it's sitting on jacks and that there is no other damage at all beside the wheels missing. I say bullshit, but went along with it again. He said he's got a police report in (which I don't know if it is true, but i'm sure my insurance people will get that taken care of). This whole thing smells foul with inside job. First of all, the wheels are just RS4 reps that look like 20 other sets of wheels on other cars.. Second, non-functioning camera? Third, thieves don't go on a dealer car lot and steal shit unless they want to get caught on the security camera. It's got to be one of the employees that saw my car. The biggest thing that pisses me off is the attitude of Ted. He sounded annoyed rather than apologetic. I have the claim initiated with Allstate and I told them this sounds fishy and wanted it investigated thoroughly. And they better pay my 500 dollar deductible. The wheels can be replaced easily but I hate the fact that I might need to go back to this shitty dealership for service. More
Everything was great from start to finish. Every employee was helpful and pleasent. I went in to have a noise checked out and a couple of random maintanance issues and within an hour I was out the d employee was helpful and pleasent. I have had two very nice experiences at this dealer. One was with the service department and the other was with their parts department. The people that work there are very friendly and polite. They ask a lo was with the service department and the other was with their parts department. The people that work there are very friendly and polite. They ask a lot of questions and actually seem to care about solving your problems. The dealership is very neat and clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. My car was washed and ready when I came to pick it up the same day that I brought it in, and the problem I was having with the car was fixed. I stopped at the parts department for some touch up paint and batteries for my key remote, and they had everthing in stock. All in all, a ver nice experience. More
The service team at this dealer isn't up to par. They misdiagnosed my multiple times when it was under warranty. Same exact problem came back (faulty Yaw sensor) after warranty expired and some how they misdiagnosed my multiple times when it was under warranty. Same exact problem came back (faulty Yaw sensor) after warranty expired and some how they managed to run a completely different test this time that found the problem except it was going to cost me $1200. Had long argument with their service unprofessionals and the used the sleazy excuse that this could be caused by a different reason and so they are not responsible. I would not take me bike to this dealer let a lone my car. Also, the guys who work there really act like robots. A smile could go a long way. More
