Gouging beyond expectations; You Have Options! First, I have been going to this Audi dealer for years for service, this is the first time I did not get a "Rate Us" email; I think I know why. I First, I have been going to this Audi dealer for years for service, this is the first time I did not get a "Rate Us" email; I think I know why. I purchased a 2007 A3 for my son. When we bought it the Airbag Light was on and we were told there was a recall for the airbag; this was in November 2016. In July of 2017 my son's engine light came on. We took to this dealer for diagnosis and repair of a minor gas cap issue. They released this car in July to my 17 year old with the Airbag Light still on; I thought the issue was still the recall. I received a mailer that noted that Tanaka (sp?) had filed bankruptcy so we called Audi about getting the Recall done and they informed us that they had fixed the Airbag Recall back in July; we did not have that information and they faxed us a receipt that apparently my 17 year old son signed that said yes they had fixed it but sent him on his way in a vehicle with a disabled Air Bag and further issues. We had no recourse at the time so we asked them to determine what was now wrong, we were told that there would be a diagnostic fee but that the fee would be applied to the repair. The fee was $543.00 to diagnose and we were told it would be $1,450.00 to replace the Air Bag Clock Spring. I looked up the issue to get familiarized with the issue and learned that this part costs on average from Audi; $165.00 and takes about one hour of labor to replace. We recognized immediately that Hoffman Audi was trying to rip us off. I made three calls to three other local Audi dealers about the issue and was given the same basic price; less than $500.00 to fix. We took our car to one of them and they fixed the issue for $465.02; even wit our Diagnostic Fee from Hoffman we saved over $500.00. However, the new Audi dealer stated; I don't know why the other dealer had you replace the Air Bag Clock Spring, it was not defective. The Airbag Light is now off and I have a car my son can safely drive. Audi Hoffman Estates has lost a customer for life. In addition to me, my family, friends and company will no longer ever consider this dealer for a car or for service. My son's Audi will now be serviced elsewhere. Stay away from this dealer! More

Never Disappointed! Sometimes, I look forward to my car giving me an issue, just so i can bring it in to the service center. Everyone is always welcoming and courteous. He makes me my favorite cup of coffee, and sometime even offers a foot rub.(I always decline, mainly because i dont think he's strong enough) Time goes by quick while i'm in there, from the Comfortable waiting area, to the beautiful Showroom, the coffee machine & Treats, and of course and the convenient phone charging station. I definitely don't mind waiting for my car. One of the nicest Dealerships Ive been to. Service is on Fleek! More
