Mr. Hot, I am sorry if you are not happy that the used Canadian vehicle that you purchased elsewhere had a foreign piece of plastic stuck in the steering wheel that was causing an abnormal noise. Regardless of where the foreign object came from, it is not considered a manufacturers defect and therefore cannot be considered a warranty issue. I am saddened that you feel that you can no longer come here for service due to an issue that has nothing to do with the dealership. The fact that you are still sticking to the actions that were taken is unbelievable and just reinforces the fact that I will never be returning. Let's make sure we get the details correct when taking about this. First, it does not matter that this vehicle is Canadian as the Audi warranty transfers from Canada to the USA. Secondly, this "foreign piece of plastic" was a plastic tab of some sort that appeared to have broken off from inside the steering wheel. That is the only logical explanation as it was lodged inside. Just because the tech could not identify where exactly it had broken off from does not make it a "foreign piece". Second, this horrible part of my experience was just that, a part of it. When returning the loaner vehicle to the dealership, I had forgotten a set of keys and a Yeti water bottle in the car. I had realized that on the way home with my car and called the dealership to see if they had found something. The individual who has picked up the phone assured me that they checked the whole vehicle and that there was nothing in there. I got home, I had checked everything and knew that there was only one place where I could've left it. I had gone back to the dealership, talked to someone at the front desk again and they assured me once again that they had found nothing. At this point, I really did feel that it wasn't in the vehicle and I must've missed it at home. Returning home, I had triple checked everything, still not able to find the keys and the water bottle. I returned to the dealership again and asked for the keys to the loaner and to go check myself. I went over to the loaner and there it was, just sitting on top of the passenger seat, was the water bottle. The keys were in the center console. The people at the front desk and whoever I spoke to on the phone did not due their due diligence and simply told me whatever to get off the phone. So Andy, as you can see this whole experience was the worst I've had at any dealership with multiple links in the chain disappointing and not providing customer service as it should be. Which is fine, but as a consumer, I vote with my dollar. And there are many other Audi dealerships that would love to have me as a customer. So not only did you steal $250 from me that I know for a fact another dealership would not have taken from me, but you stole my time as well.
