The Audi Fort Worth dealership is living up to some very high expectations from years living in other cities. The service team has taken great care of my family and me for almost three years. Audi Fort Worth listed a 2023 Tesla Long Range on their website. After negotiating a price with their sales rep, I took our kids and drove about an hour to purchase the car. This was my first Tesla purchas website. After negotiating a price with their sales rep, I took our kids and drove about an hour to purchase the car. This was my first Tesla purchase, and I didn't really know much about them. I trusted the dealership to sell me the trim level they had listed on their website. I came in late that evening and had my own financing. The person handling my paperwork didn't explain what I was signing. At one point, I was a little confused by a paint protection plan, and after asking about it, I was under the impression that I was declining that extra add-on. After getting the car home, I learned that this car wasn't a long-range trim as they advertised on their website and that they actually charged me $299 for an additional one that I didn't want, and I would have indeed declined if I had known they were charging me for this. When I called to talk to the sales manager and sales rep, they implied that I was incorrect about this not being the trim level I said it was (even after sending them screenshots of the screens from the car that show the trim level and features.) As this was my first Tesla, I wasn't aware at the time of purchase that I needed to check these screens to confirm features and trim level. On the following Monday, I spoke to one of the managers, who said he had done some research over the weekend, and I was right that the car was listed incorrectly. He offered to send me a $500 check for the issue (he refused to refund the $299 for the protection), and I feel I was scammed into paying for it. I am disappointed that the dealership misrepresented the car's trim level and didn't do due diligence to look at the appropriate screen on the vehicle to verify the trim level was not the long-range as they implied. The same weekend, I bought the car they gave me to Monday to decide if I wanted to unwind the deal, but at this point, I had already secured financing, drove two hours round trip, and traded in my car to them. I have since learned how bad of a deal this is, as you can get a brand new, long-range (if you qualify for the tax rebate) for less than the price of the car they sold me (that wasn't a long-range.) I'm frustrated that they listed (and sold) me this car with the wrong trim level. I have called and emailed the general manager but have not heard from him regarding this issue. I believe that I have an issue of misrepresentation and possibly fraud. Also, I think the dealer had a duty to fully disclose the correct trim level of the car and do due diligence (looking at the screen in the car and the sticker, which was in the back of the vehicle, to verify features / /trim level. They either failed to do this or were aware of the correct features and listed them incorrectly, even without knowing this information. I will request a further price refund for the difference in trim level and the $299 for the protection plan I didn't want, which was not explained to me at the time of purchase. More
Oil change and multi point service inspection was completed in about one hour while my wife and I waited in their comfortable waiting area with free WiFi and snacks. Free car wash was included, so it completed in about one hour while my wife and I waited in their comfortable waiting area with free WiFi and snacks. Free car wash was included, so it looked like new on driving away. I was able to use a $50 off coupon, which shrank the bill quite a bit. More
