We test drove the car and decided on the spot to buy it. After about a half hour of going back and forth we were able to come to an agreement on a car that was at another location. Aaron the salesman told us that he was going to call us in the morning when the car got there. We waited till about noon and decided to call him. He was off! It was his day off! He had no intentions of calling us. Day three we called and left him three messages, still no response. After he avoided us for the fourth day I decided to go in and get our deposit back. He was shocked as I walked thru the door. He told me he was just about to call me and that our car was on a truck, on its way to the dealership. For some reason I believed him and went home without the deposit. The next morning, still no car. At that point I went online and found Mattie VW and saw the car in the color we wanted. I called, got Tim the Sales Manager on the phone asked if the car was really there. He put me on hold walked out the car and confirmed it was there. I drove down gave Tim a deposit and bought the car for a better price than Alden offered me. I am so exited about my experience with I almost forgot about the deposit I left at Alden. My daughter and I went back to Alden to get our deposit and they told me I could not have it. They told us it was to our fault we didn’t give them more color choices and that white was too hard to find. Its been over a month now and they still will not refund my 19 year old daughter her deposit. Stay away from Alden! More
Went into dealership for car, all prices are $2,000 MORE than advertised.I Test drove a car, went to make an offer mark said he would need a signature and credit card to discuss with sales manager. We had a wonderful experience at Mattie Imports. We were able to drive away with exactly the vehicle we wanted in less than 24 hours! After an awful experience elsewhere we were treated so well-the staff wa able to drive away with exactly the vehicle we wanted in less than 24 hours! I purchased my new A4 Cabriolet via Brian Farrington through their internet dept. He was extremely helpful , gave me a great deal and everything went as planned when I finally showed up to purchase and through their internet dept. I have had some service issues since purchasing (10 in 6 months) but it's more of the manufacturer's fault than anything else. If I ever buy another Audi it will be from Mattie Imports. Great dealer and staff, poor quality vehicle in terms of reliability. More
Brought in my car on a VW Safety Recall regarding a defective brake light switch. While there I asked them to look at the light on my Heater/AC Control panel as it has not worked in well over a year. defective brake light switch. While there I asked them to look at the light on my Heater/AC Control panel as it has not worked in well over a year. They replaced a $1.10 bulb and with labor, it cost me $40. When I got in my car, the heater fan would not work. (I drove there while it was cold and snowing and it was working fine when I arrived.) I reported the problem and they took it back inside. A while later they told me the Heater/AC Control unti was no good and it would cost $260 to replace it. Although I pointed out that the unti was working just fine when I brought it in, they insisted they did not cause the problem and tried to say someone else had been working on it. I would not allow them to scam me and I have taken it to another service center where it was fixed for much less. More
