Service department much improved I have been dealing with the service department at Mattie Imports Volkswagen Audi for over a year. My initial impressions weren't favorable but they I have been dealing with the service department at Mattie Imports Volkswagen Audi for over a year. My initial impressions weren't favorable but they were the closest VW dealer by a considerable amount so I kept using them. I have noticed a significant improvement in the last 6 months and it is obvious that Mattie Imports has taken past criticisms to heart and improved the performance of their service department. Well done to all involved! The car was returned in very clean conditions so my thanks must also go to whoever cleaned it. A small point: I would have given Mattie Imports Volkswagen Audi five stars if the bored-and-annoyed-to-be-working sounding receptionist could lose her ability to make announcements on the PA system! It was mildly irritating for the first 30 minutes but eventually became so annoying that I went to the McDonalds next door to avoid hearing her. More

Wonderful experience I live out of state and visited Mattie while on business. I had a recall that needed to be taken care of as well as routine maintenance. My Audi I live out of state and visited Mattie while on business. I had a recall that needed to be taken care of as well as routine maintenance. My Audi has more than 125k miles, so taking it in can be a bit of a Pandora's box as far as recommended repairs. My service rep kept me informed throughout the day and we discussed the technician's recommendations as they came up. I didn't end up doing absolutely everything that they found, but feel comfortable that my car is in a safe and well maintained condition, and within a budget that I can afford. I also appreciate the fact that my car was returned well cleaned and I was offered a complementary loaner car while my car was in the shop. More

My 2002 Cabrio had steering rack, struts and hand brake issues and I needed advise about getting new parts from Germany and waiting 2 weeks, or going My 2002 Cabrio had steering rack, struts and hand brake issues and I needed advise about getting new parts from Germany and waiting 2 weeks, or going for rebuilt waranteed parts available here. Also, I wanted to know whether the $4000 price tag indicated I should turn the car in and get a new one. I was advised Matte could easily repair the car, that with 61000 miles on it with no other big problems with the engine, etc, if I liked it I should keep it, and that they could have it ready in a couple of days. I am very happy with the advise, and the car drives like new. JB More
