Good experience with service I had previously owned a Volkswagen and had it serviced in NY, where I lived. All the local service people were terrible. Either they didn't listen to I had previously owned a Volkswagen and had it serviced in NY, where I lived. All the local service people were terrible. Either they didn't listen to my complaints or took 2-3 tries to fix simple problems. However, I loved the car and so I bought my second Volkswagen car. This was 3 weeks before the big reveal about how the company had lied to consumers and the EPA about their diesel cars. After that, I swore I would never buy another Volkswagen because both the company and the services I'd previously visited had been so terrible. This place gave me hope for the Volkswagen brand. They fixed my car quickly as well as informing me of and dealing with a recall. They gave me suggestions for upkeep and when I decided to deal with those upkeeps later, wrote them down for me so I'd remember what to ask for. They washed and vacuumed my car (so thankful to them and so sorry for them having to deal with the mess). They also returned my calls promptly, and kept me up to date with what was happening with the car. The car was returned on time. This dealership has been the one saving grace of Volkswagen for me. I'm so glad to have found a service place with respectable, reputable people. More

Signs were appearing that indicated that this was going to be a real problem, Roy and Paul stayed focused on solving the issue and located a used replacement. I have to drive a bit to get to Mattie. I do because they make me feel welcomed and part of a family. They are professional and well trained. I truly appreciate the Mattie team, Roy and Paul in particular..
