Great Buying Experience at Elk Grove Audi My wife and I just had our best ever car buying experience at Elk Grove Audi. The people we worked with were super helpful, patient, and knowledgeable My wife and I just had our best ever car buying experience at Elk Grove Audi. The people we worked with were super helpful, patient, and knowledgeable (we asked a LOT of questions). Our salesperson, Vince Webb, is the most knowledgeable sales person we've probably ever dealt with. He got me interested in the history of the company. These folks were helpful at every turn.........they really made things work well for us........and even offered us pizza when we stayed a little later than expected.. Can't say enough positive things about our experience with this team! More

The dealership actually had the car I have been seeking on the pre-owned lot. Vince offered his help and proceeded to not exert pressure in any way towards a purchase. He actually had real-world knowledge regarding the myriad of technical features in the car and demonstrated many during a test drive. It is atypical to have a car sales representative that takes the time and effort to learn and understand the product so well. A professional approach was appreciated and was no doubt a prime factor in my decision to purchase that day. Vince and Michele (who finalized the closing documentation) represented the Dealership very well during the entire process. Both of these individuals were clear and concise in both price negotiation and completing the purchase that day. A VERY rare exception in today's sales climate. The vehicle hopefully will behave in the same manner!... More
Excecptional Car Buying Experience My husband and I were very impressed with the professionalism and quality customer service we were provided by Elk Grove Audi. Jerry Sypkens and Tareq My husband and I were very impressed with the professionalism and quality customer service we were provided by Elk Grove Audi. Jerry Sypkens and Tareq Salem listened to us and made sure all of our questions were answered. We did not feel any type of pressure and that was refreshing. I would also like to add that we felt very comfortable dealing with both Jerry and Tareq. They are very knowledgeable about Audi and answered all of our questions. I would recommend Elk Grove Audi to anyone looking to buy an Audi. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with my 2019 Audi Q5! Thank you Jerry and Tareq! More

Very bad purchasing experience at Elk Grove Audi Very bad purchasing experience at this Audi dealership, with some shady sales practices that everyone should be aware of. I was looking for a CPO 2018 Very bad purchasing experience at this Audi dealership, with some shady sales practices that everyone should be aware of. I was looking for a CPO 2018 Audi A7 Competition at Elk Grove Audi in Sacramento. I live in LA, so had to made this deal over email and phone, which I’ve done before. Initial email communications with Noel (the salesperson) were normal, although not very professional for an Audi dealership. After several ineffective email communications with Noel, I called the sales manager (Yusuf S) and able to agree on a deal for this car over the phone for just over $53K. I told him that I will be flying over on Saturday to purchase it, assuming the car is as clean as advertised. At first Yusuf did not want to take a down payment from me, which I thought was odd. Until I insisted that I want to put a $1000 down payment on this car, so they do not sell this to others. Yusuf then handed the sales over Noel to finish the deal. Yusuf also asked if I can email me my flight itinerary as guarantee that I will come, which I did. Come Saturday, we flew to Sacramento and arrived at the dealership on time at 3pm with my wife and kids. I met Noel and she then brought the car out for me to inspect it. To my disappointment, the car has not been washed yet and full of dirt as if the car been sitting for over a month without being washed. When I asked why it's not yet washed, Noel's response was that they're waiting for me to approve the car, finish paperwork, then they'll wash it. Not the kind of answer I was expecting and since they know that I'll be coming over that day to inspect and buy the car, isn't it common courtesy to wash the car that I will be paying over $50K first? This of course upset me and makes me think that they are trying to hide something from me by not washing the car first, so it will be hard to see scratches, blemishes and dents. This just leaves a bad taste that an Audi dealership would do such a thing. So I went around to look at each the car super careful with my wife (who's also fuming at this point), found some minor scratches and no major issues. I test drove it and I found no issue. So I then told her that I'll take the car and she said she'll fill up the gas and wash it. Then come the finance paperwork and this is where it gets even uglier. Went to the finance office and talked with the finance guy there. He tried to sell me all kinds of unnecessary services and extended warranty that I politely declined. Then comes the signing of the paperwork. It started with signing the basic DMV, privacy stuff, and a few more where he explained each in some detail before I signed it. Then come this one paperwork he wants me to sign without saying too much about it. I was about to sign it, when I see that it's for a "Theft code" for $289!! I was surprised to see this, as I never asked for this and the $289 for a theft code that he said gets me some sort of warranty in case it gets stolen, bla, bla. I said I didn't ask for this, but then he responded with "It's included as part of the negotiated priced that you agreed with the sales manager" he said. So I was like, ok then. If it's included, sure, I'll take it and I signed it. Then comes the long retails installment sale contract paperwork that breaks down all the numbers, price of car, downpayment, fees, etc. So he explained a few areas where I have to sign or initial, which I started doing while at the same time looking at the numbers again and to my shock, he listed the $289 as an additional cost instead of it being included per what he told me earlier. So I asked him about why this charge is there, where I could've easily missed it, if I didn't take my time to look through it in more details as he went straight to the total that I have to pay. And it gets awkward of course and he said that he will call the sales manager again to confirm (I don't know what is it to confirm, as he said earlier that it's included as part of the negotiated price). He picked up the phone and talked to someone, explained how I didn't want this theft code included. The phone call lasted less than 10 seconds, he hung up and tear up the sale contract and printed a new one. I kept quiet, but was fuming inside and just want to get this done and get the heck out of there. I couldn't believe that this could happen in an Audi dealership and that he tried to take advantage of me that way. I can only imagine how many other customers could easily missed that and ended up paying for something that they don't even want/need. So after he printed another one, I looked through it carefully, signed it and done. Noel came back with my now clean & washed car. Myself and my wife looked through around the car again and sure enough, we found several more obvious scratches in bunches that we couldn't possibly see when it's dirty. We drove off with our car upset and couldn't believe an Audi dealership could go this low to try and cheat a customer. Very sleazy practice, please be very careful when purchasing a car from this dealership. More

We decided to open the field and research other similarly equipped/size SUVs which led us to six different lots with a wide range of cars, test drive and sales experiences. In the end, we decide to lease a 2019 Q5 from Audi of Elk Grove. Vince Webb led us through the test drive, pointed out key new features/improvements, and ultimately found a model and trim that was exactly what we were looking for with no pressure to push us to models or trims that exceeded our needs. He was respectful of our time and decision-making process and very responsive without pushing or pressuring us. Vince was extremely communicative, both at the Audi lot and over email/ text as we did our research and deliberated. He was very transparent through the whole process. Having a good sales person makes all the difference in stressful situations like buying a new car. By contrast, there were other dealers with very different experiences to the point that I was ready to walk off the lot after the first couple of minutes. Vince and Audi of Elk Grove got us into a vehicle that had all of our 'must-haves' in just a couple days showing saint-like patience for our questions. Typically we've bought our cars in the Bay Area, but could easily and wholeheartedly recommend this dealership and Vince to others shopping for a new car. More
