My husband and I were contemplating what new vehicle to purchase. We are retired and were looking for comfort and safety for our travels around this beautiful country. I had always admired the Audi for looks and their reputation for quality German engineering. Elk Grove Audi was our first and last dealership to visit. Ralph Jackson was so pleasant and helpful. We test drove several models, both gas and diesel. His knowledge of their cars was immense. There was no high pressure pitch or sense of urgency to buy a car now. After our visit, we did our internet research and decided to purchase the 2014 A6 Sedan. He located the car we wanted and completed all necessary paperwork by phone and email. We recently went in to pick up our new car. It is perfect! The closing went smoothly. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and pleasant. Matt McDougal has always been very professional, yet personal, when he reviews with me the maintenance hat needs to be performed on my car, and the review of the work that had been done. There are never any "gotcha's" with Matt. So after 7 years and my A6 reaching 248k, I came in to purchase another A6. Mike Fallis was excellent to work with for my purchase. He explained everything about the car, had our price set and then wrapped up the paperwork. Couldn't have been easier for me, which doesn't seem typical, but Mike made it that way. He then explained everything about the technology inside the car and even called me the next day to ask me if I had any questions, needed help in any area of technology, and said I can call him at anytime and gave me his cell phone #. Over the past 50 years I have purchased several autos all considered luxury autos. With each purchase the experience varied from OK to very good to exceptional. The most memorable was the experience we had when we traveled to the Mercedes factory in Germany for delivery of a new Mercedes. That is until we experienced the purchase of our new Audi from the Audi of Elk Grove. From the 1st visit to the Audi dealership to the final visit which was to take delivery of new Audi from the receptionist to the sales manager we were treated respectfully. Each employee we encountered was courteous and extremely helpful. The first meeting with the salesman Ralph Jackson I advised him I was interested in a new BMW, Mercedes, or a the new Acura RLX and just wanted to see what an Audi had to offer. Ralph took the time to show me the different models available on the lot and some that could be ordered and in all of our discussions he never made any derogatory remarks of the other manufacturers. I was impressed with his patience, his knowledge of the Audi, his professional behavior, and felt he truly was doing his best to fit me in a model I thought I wanted rather than just to close a deal. Contrary to the unjust theory that dealerships are only interested in making sales, Elk Grove Audi is really one that made me feel they were there to assist me and to meet my needs and not to force me into an auto just in order to make the sale.
