Prior to the discovery of the VW Audi criminal fraud case, I had taken the car into the dealer for service. On one occasion there was a recall to some part of the fuel system [ironic] and when they finished the work they left a fuel hose disconnected- the hose sprayed fuel through out the engine compartment and all over my driveway. On another instance i took the car in because the AC wasn't working and was told that there was a "defective" climate control module. Despite the fact that 2 dealers told me that there was a defect in the part they refused to stand behind the car. When I asked to speak to the service manager I was told that he would not speak to me. They were more than happy to speak with me when selling me the car. Needless to say i found a non-dealer shop for service - more professional and much cheaper. More
