Hi Frank, I am very disappointed you would disparage our dealership in such a way. The tires on your vehicle measured 8/32nd of an inch when we delivered it, which is barely used condition. As you may know, there are a variety of factors that affect the treadwear on tires including your driving habits and the climate conditions. We are entirely transparent about the condition of our pre-owned vehicles and simply offered solutions that were amicable to both ourselves and you. There is no evidence that indicates your vehicle was damaged in our possession. Your vehicle was in service 8/31/2022 because you stated it was leaking coolant. We were unable to locate any leaks and the coolant system pressure was inside the specification. You then brought your vehicle to another dealership due to a concern with the Audi Pre-Sense collision warning system on 9/13/2022. Your vehicle's computer records all faults, the date they appeared, and when they were read/cleared. When you returned on 9/19/2022 for the same issue we discovered a fault for "Adaptive Cruise Control Sensor Misadjusted" appeared on 9/06/2022 and was cleared by the other dealer on 9/13/2022. We advised to fix this issue, instead of clearing the code out and hoping for the best, that you have an ACC sensor calibration performed. The logs in your ECU are immutable and do not support the narrative you have created. Why did you take the original tires off of the vehicle? So, you’re telling me that those tires are only good for 26,000 miles? As far as the damage to my vehicle is concerned, yes, you did do it because the light turned on before I even drove off of the lot. I thought nothing of it, just that it was a quirk because I’ve experienced touchy indicator lights every now and then with the computer system in all three of the Audi’s I’ve had. I had an oil change scheduled at another Audi dealer closer to me for one week out, so I figured I’d just check with them. I’m not disparaging your dealership as you seem to be able to do that quite well with you service and sales tactics.

Lordy, I have photos, screenshots, live photos, etc. I’m not sure why you think I wouldn’t have taken a pic of the pre-sense warning light in your lot, before I left. I do have to give you credit for the slick tire switch, however. It wasn’t until I was about to drive off in the vehicle, the day I purchased it, that I was informed that the original tires had been replaced with new all season tires, because I was looking at them asked Brendan. You were not going to tell me about. I kind of had to ask, which is why I want an answer to this question, Why did you switch out the tires on a vehicle with 17,000 miles. You should be able to answer this promptly as it’s not a difficult question. Oh, why should I be the one calling you to discuss this issue? Shouldn’t you be calling me? If I don’t have answers soon, I’m contacting Audi corporate and possibly the Attorney General. I have to go through icloud to pull up some additional photos.

I can’t help but wonder how many other people have purchased a pre-owned vehicle from your dealership and have had the tires switched out on them without them thinking to ask, after all, if you’re buying a pre-owned vehicle, why would the tires need to be replaced after 13,000or even 15,000 miles? There has to be a reason, like maybe the the tires and rims were damaged, or that the tires are a lot more expensive than the ones they are being replaced with. What other reason could there be if the buyer doesn’t ask for them to be replaced?
