We had two cars sold out from under us locally in Maryland but found a match on the Audi CPO site. I emailed Audi Burlington and almost immediately got a letter appreciating my inquiry and requesting an opportunity to be of service. The letter also explained their pricing policies, hours of operation, referenced videos on their website and added an invitation to contact them at my convenience. I had been chasing down another car with a different dealership under similar circumstances, although not the color combination my wife wanted, and all I got back was a form letter that someone would contact me (which never has happened). I did contact Audi Burlington, at first by email worried their car had already been sold; they responded quickly that the car was available, and then we spoke by phone. My first conversation was with Jasson McNallie who knew the car inside and out, told me of it's service history and OFFERED to pick me up at the airport if I wanted to fly up and see the car. We had been considering it and had already rearranged our work schedules and Jasson's offer was too good to pass up. We put a deposit on the car to hold it until we could fly up on Saturday. I had also found a coupon for internet customers and watched a couple videos from their website. Flying on 9/11 was somber, especially flying over NYC. Go Southwest! Arrived at Boston's Logan Airport, walked outside and Jasson arrived right on time. We got a quick tour of the city, having never been there and then arrived at the dealership. Conversation was easy with Jasson and we were soon at the dealership. We parked out behind the service department and there was the car we wanted to see, clean and ready for us. We have a 2005 A4 Cabriolet in the same White with Beige top colors but this 2009 SLine Cabriolet was stunningly presented. After a short test drive and review of the functions and features with Jasson, we headed to the sales floor via the service department. Along the way, every single technician, service advisor, and passer by said hello or welcomed us to Audi Burlington. On the sales floor we met with the Sales Manager and the General Manager while Jasson got the paperwork set out in the office. Both were genuinely appreciative of our effort to come from Maryland and interested in our lives in Maryland. We chatted about the local area, the car and the dealership's effort to make this easy for us. While the car was getting some options installed, Jasson gave us his personal car to go get lunch and recommended several local favorites. We were surprisingly relaxed about all this and had a great lunch. Same treatment when we returned from lunch, everyone at Audi Burlington was very genuine and interested in our experiences. I can't imagine we are the only ones to ever fly in to pick up a car, but it was really appreciated. I am sure that there are daily challenges at Audi Burlington, as in any business that deals with the public in a situation involving something so personal and costly, but we believe that Jasson McNallie represents the kind of people we all wish we could work with. With the top down, we left on our 8 hour trip back to Maryland. The car was flawless, we learned to use the NAV system and we marveled at the adventure we were on. The telltale comment came from my wife the next morning when we were looking at out twins in the garage. She said that in all the purchases of over 20 vehicles, this is the first one where she doesn't mind the Herb Chambers license plate frames on her car. Usually those don't make it to the curb with her, so congratulations to the Jasson McNallie and our new friends at Herb Chambers Audi Burlington. We are proud Herb Chambers customers! More
My first review was delete for some reason, so here we go again. I bought my A6 into this dealer for service about a 9 months ago, not only did they not fix my problem but they took all the change that I had again. They also went thru my things in the glove box. Very unprofessional of them. I called the customer service manager the next day and he said he would look into it but never heard back from him. Needless to say I will never use this dealer again for service. Follow up on 8/25/2010: I had a very pleasant conversation with a Mr. Jasson McNallie today, he was very professional and explained to me the steps Burlington Audi took to correct the problem after my bad experience there. I am not going to edit my original review because I really did have a bad experience there but I do think that the management team at Herb Chamber truly cares about customer satisfaction and try to meet the customer's needs. I am going to try to do business with Herb Chamber Audi again in the future. More
Great service and costumer relations! I highly recommend to my friends whom also own Audis. I usually don't like dealing with my car's maintanance however using their services is very pleasant and the fact to my friends whom also own Audis. To put this review in perspective, I purchased two cars from this dealer and I recommended this dealer to two neighbors who purchased cars. The organization from top to bottom is comprised of personnel who are knowledgeable, courteous, attentive and very competent. I regret that the "Reason for Visit" is so limited as I can say that I have purchased new and I use HC for service as well. When I visit for service, not only am I greeted courteously by the Service folks but I am also greeted by the folks who sold me the cars. I am always asked if the cars are running well, providing the same fun and excitement as the day we bought it, etc. I like cars and I particularly like Audis. The folks at HC indulge my passion and share my enthusiasm. They talk "cars" with me and make each visit a pleasure - not a chore. It was a pleasure working with Audi Burlington and throughout the process of purchasing my 2011 Audi A8. I had visited all four of the Audi dealerships in Metro Boston and was impressed by only this o throughout the process of purchasing my 2011 Audi A8. I had visited all four of the Audi dealerships in Metro Boston and was impressed by only this one. The quality of the information provided far exceeded anything I experienced elsewhere. Certainly there is a difference between an intent to sell versus providing the information needed to a client, allowing them to make an informed and non-pressured decision. I came to the dealership yesterday simply to test drive the new demo car and gather more information. But I realized I would receive no better service anywhere else, and decided to purchase my new A8 then and there. I am sharing this with your Sales Manager Adnan as I believe he too is part of our decision. Too frequently, management would stay elusively behind the scenes, but Adnan’s welcoming presence made both of us more than comfortable. Thanks to you both. More
As a new owner of a used and first Audi, I was nervous with all the high end componets of the car. Audi of Burlington has been the most user friendly and reliable dealership I have ever delt with in my 40 with all the high end componets of the car. This past 4th of July weekend our convertable top became inoperable, I called the service department and droped off the car I believe on the Wednesday night before the 4th and asked if they could possibily look at the problem and have the car ready for the upcoming weekend. It appears from the service record its was not a easy fix and the car was ready the next day which made for a enjoyable weekend with the convertable. The service and timely repair was nothin short of great... Everyone at Audi of Burlington has made service a pleasant experience and I look forward to continuing the relationship. I was looking for a car that was particularly hard to find. I called all the Audi dealerships in around 100 mile radius from me. After our initial phone call in which this dealership didn't have what I w find. I called all the Audi dealerships in around 100 mile radius from me. After our initial phone call in which this dealership didn't have what I was looking for, they called me back two days later to tell me that they have one at the port arriving in a couple days. I had made it clear to these people that I do not live close to them, and will make the trip down to finalize/pay for the car all in one trip. That same day they took my CC # to secure the car until I could come up the next day. So the next day at 4pm I took the long trip out there only to find out that the shady salesman sold the car the same night he spoke to me and took my CC number. The sale of the car didnt bother me much, but what was very shady was the fact that no one called me to let me know the car was sold. Instead they let me drive way the heck out there to try to sell me something else. I have an Audi dealership 10 minutes from my house and drove an hour and a half to Herb Chambers because supposedly they had the car I was looking for. The salesman was specifically instructed to wait for me to arrive there to let me know that car was sold, but that they could sell me something else. Unbelievable. Between going to the bank to get a cashiers check, and the drive, I wasted over 3 hours on a Sunday because they didn't have the courtesy to call me and let me know that the car was sold. They prefer to waste your time and be jerks on the hope that MAYBE you will buy another car. Needless to say I told them what I thought of their dealership and walked away. These are the guys you want to avoid when you hear stories about shady car salesmen. Avoid Jason in the finance department like the plague Addition on 6-24-2009 George Chambers called me about this matter to try to rectify the situation that occurred. He was very understanding and really tried to help put me into another car, and for a good price. We weren't able to end up making a deal as another car wasn't located in a suitable time, but I wanted to add to this review that he personally did try to help me and made me feel better about this dealership. I am not changing my initial review as I dont think its fair to hide what has happened, but I do think the upper level management at Herb Chambers do care about their customers, and its unfortunate that my experience was with a couple people who just handled the situation the wrong way. Overall after speaking with George I would have purchased the car from them had it been available, but we were able to locate one. More
We purchased at Herb Chambers a 2010 Audi Q5. From the first visit in the showroom, the personnel we dealt with was knowledgeable about the product, courteous and effective. In particular Jay Levy, the sales person we primarily dealt with, knew very well the car features (including product options)and properly conveyed them to us. Quite important to us,,he was not "overbearing" but he was very convincing. He introduced us to his boss, a gesture which we liked, and the finance manager with whom we settle the contract and the financial matters After we purchased the car, we decided to return and tell Audi Burlington about the "jerking" of the transmission at very low speed which we did not find normal. Jay introduced us to the maintenance manager who told us that it is not the first time that a customer has made him aware of this.He suggested to wait until the car has a couple thousands miles before checking for defect and possibly adjusting/correcting the transmission. We decided to follow his advice. Our experience with Herb Chambers was very pleasant and we would certainly deal with them regarding future automobile purchases. More
