Wicked Good Customer Service I had an issue with my engine not seeming quite right. I had 83,000 miles on my car and my warranty covered the vehicle to 100,000 miles. Tony in se I had an issue with my engine not seeming quite right. I had 83,000 miles on my car and my warranty covered the vehicle to 100,000 miles. Tony in service explained to me that Audi did some tests and that instead of repairing the engine, they were going to replace the entire engine with an out of the crate new one. Unfortunately, I was scheduled to drive to North Carolina for my cousin's wedding. Tony asked to call me back and when he did, he informed me that he had a 2017 A4 for me to drive to North Carolina. He is very, very knowledgeable and was more than happy to help me. When I asked what I could do for him for helping me, he explained to me that he liked to help customers and he was happy to do so. And he meant it. Before Schmitt's, I always bought Cadillacs from West Herr. I can guarantee anyone that West Herr would not have gone this far to help me and definitely would not have replaced an engine just to be on the safe side. They would have referred me to Enterprise and I would have had to rent a car to drive to North Carolina. And they definitely wouldn't have helped me and explained everything to me with a smile on their faces. Schmitt's is hands down the best customer service I have ever had on any of the vehicles I have owned. I will continue giving them my business for many years to come. I purchased the car used about 6 months ago (my first Audi), and have been in twice - once with a transmission problem and most recently with a brake issue. In both instances, Allison was my service contact. Both times I’ve been treated professionally from start to end. Allison gets back to me in a timely manner with specific details on what needs to be done and why, and the service invoice is great in that it contains details on what has been done. Though it may seem like a small thing, I have to emphasize how great it is to get the car back washed and vacuumed. No one is ever “happy” paying for car repairs, but getting the car back clean sure makes climbing back behind the wheel nice! Thanks to all in the service department for doing a great job. More
