Not as painful as expected. I recently purchased an Audi Q7 and David Engel was my salesperson. I have bought many. Are over the years, and this transaction was by far the most pleasant and least time consuming. I used the Costco car buying program. The dealership contacted me and I made an appointment for Saturday afternoon. The dealership does not accept walk-ins, you need an appointment. I was looking for the Prestige version of the Q7 and Luckily for me, a prestige version was available for a test drive. In the Covid era, a salesperson does not accompany you, which I think is better. You can go where you want and really focus on the driving experience. Pricing was easy thanks to the Costco program and I think I got a very fair price on my trade-in. I came back on Monday to finalize the paperwork, I wish car dealers didn’t try to upsell you with all the warranty and extra service and protection programs but they are a necessary evil. Paperwork was completed in a timely manner and I drove off with a new car. David is a very nice person and very friendly. Knows a lot about cars and the car business. I hope he does well. I went to two other Audi dealerships and Bethesda was #1. More

While the Audi Bethesda dealership is somewhat limited in space, there was no shortage in the customer service that was rendered during our several visits to evaluate and test drive the Q7. While we ultimately decided to go with the Mercedes GLS, David could not have been more helpful and professional in his continued willingness to provide information and help us through the vehicle selection process. I would highly recommend David Engel and the Audi Bethesda dealership to any friend of colleague who is in the market for an Audi. More
