We used their loaner Q5 for an hour, in that time, actually while parked, the windshield cracked, funny thing is that until I pointed it out, they had checked the car back in not noting the crack. My honesty bit me today, as they charged $1500 to replace the windshield. I realize that its part of the loaner deal, kind of a bum deal especially when it really was nothing I did, as opposed to driving bad and wrecking the loaner. $1500 is more than most other dealers charge for this service, so guess since they had me trapped they could charge as much as they wanted to. Feel like making money on the loaner car? You ended up losing in the end as the work my R8 needs, your dealership will not be doing, for that matter you will never see my car again. More

In fact, this last service was to repair a faulty sunroof covered under my extended carmax warranty. Well Chris looked into it and realized that my car's original Audi warranty was still active.
