Mr Herendeen, First of all you brought the truck back at least 10 days after the initial KBB offer. We explained to you in writing why we lowered our offer as the condition of this truck had changed. We explained to you we could smell coolant burning and our initial offer from at least 10 days ago changed. Our offers stand on face value all the time and between the coolant smell and the new hole in the bumper we adjusted the offer based on condition and time past. You did NOT HAVE TO SELL US YOUR TRUCK if you did NOT want to. If you like you are more then welcome to bring our check back by December 2nd and i will return your truck to you. Please let me know. if you would like to pursue that avenue. My instincts tell me were by far still the best offer or why would you have sold us your 140,000 mile 2007 truck?? As you stated yourself the 3 day written offer had expired. If you would like to discuss further please feel free to contact me directly Thank you Alan Friedman

Mr. Friedman, I'm not sure if I can find any details in your response that are actually true! No, actually nobody explained to me why the price was lowered, you didn't bother to come out of your "secret" office and talk with me. No, you DID NOT explain to me that you smelled coolant in your initial offer. Your salesmen actually said that if I had sold the truck the first time I visited, you never would have found the leak and would have actually paid the $600 higher price!! His words, not mine. Oh yes, the other wonderfully fabricated lie...the "new hole in the bumper"...um...really. I would like to clue you in a bit. I owned this truck for 7 years. Three summers ago my wife backed into my front bumper while my truck was parked in our driveway and made that hole. So, first of all there is another lie and second of all it just proves that there is yet ANOTHER thing that you missed on the first appraisal you idiot!!! It was not 10 days later, I drove the truck 60 miles and came back in 5 days, which was 2 days after the 3 day offer had expired. Yes, you paid the highest, which is why I obviously sold it to your mismanaged dealership. It's just that fact that you can't keep any of your stories straight and you make up things to rob people of their money a few hundred dollars at a time once you get them in the door. I'm not new to the used car business, just an FYI. I'm not the average "walk in the door" customer of yours. Thanks for buying my truck, just try and treat some of your future customers fairly without the lies.
