Unexpectedly pleasant car buying experience. I DESPISE car shopping. Not just because I feel like the whole industry is built on manipulation but also because being a woman, I am more likely to b I DESPISE car shopping. Not just because I feel like the whole industry is built on manipulation but also because being a woman, I am more likely to be taken advantage of at a dealership. I was very on guard and quite frankly, unpleasant. Paul was not only patient with me, he was honest and kind. He wasn’t overwhelmingly pushy, he answered all my questions again and again and again since I kept waiting for the surprise. Well there wasn’t a surprise. I love my new truck. I loved the ease of this experience and the incredible follow up. Paul even came to my job in Rochester to take my car to Victor and back to me just so that it would get inspected because I “had to” have the truck on a day that there’s wasn’t anyone to inspect the vehicles (ummmm Labor Day). I have messaged and called Paul on his days off, not knowing he was off, and he ALWAYS responded to my questions immediately. He even came in on his said day off (Labor Day...I know I’m a horrible person...) so that I could pick up this vehicle. I definitely learned my lesson to not judge and be kind. From now on, only Auction Direct and only Paul. I hope he gets a raise by the way (ahem ahem). More
