Exactly what we needed After a car accident and insurance only providing a couple of thousand, we went to Auction Direct. We decided on them for our first stop because of th After a car accident and insurance only providing a couple of thousand, we went to Auction Direct. We decided on them for our first stop because of their business model (selling at a fixed amount over their price paid, warranty included, etc.). We worked with Willie Duncan and we got exactly what we needed and paid less than we expected for a replacement car. Willie was honest and helpful and very low pressure. At one point the car we bought had the check engine light come on when they were taking it to put gas in it for us. They explained the situation, talked with the mechanic who explained the issue and what it took to fix it. The transparency was impeccable (their steam cleaning of the engine had an effect on a spark plug, replacing the plug fixed the issue). Willie listened to what we were after through the whole process and showed us what was relevant to our needs and limitations. If I had to buy another car I would be hard pressed to find a reason to work with anyone else. After buying the car, I brought it to a shop I trust and had them look at everything top to bottom for any signs that I bought a car with problems or to see if I had anything to worry about; they said they were impressed how good the car was for as little as I paid and I had nothing to be concerned with on the vehicle.
