I showed up a little early. Was greeted and my car was taken in immediately. I was comfortable waiting and kept up to date with the progress. I recently brought my 2018 Subaru Outback to Atlantic Subaru for a routine oil change and tire rotation after returning from our trip to Florida. During the service, I received a call informing me that a Subaru for a routine oil change and tire rotation after returning from our trip to Florida. During the service, I received a call informing me that a few additional maintenance items needed attention. I agreed to move forward, and they provided me with a loaner vehicle right away - no hassle at all, which I really appreciated. A few days later, I picked up my car, but soon after, I noticed a new sound. I brought it back in, and unfortunately, it was the transmission. Initially, the team believed the vehicle was still under warranty, and they promptly took action to support me. They truly went to bat for me and made every effort to help. In the meantime, I had already placed a deposit on a new Subaru Ascent and was counting on the trade-in value of my 2018 Outback as my down payment. A few days later, I received the bad news; the transmission was not covered under warranty, and I'd have to pay out of pocket. I was devastated and unsure what to do next. That's when Service Manager Peter O'Neill stepped in and really came through. I explained my situation - how I had already committed to the new vehicle and needed the trade-in value as part of the deal - and Peter didn't hesitate. He took the bull by the horns and made sure I received the full trade-in value without having to cover the cost of a new transmission. Thanks to him, everything worked out, and we are now the proud owners of a 2025 Subaru Ascent. I also want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing women in the service department: Jesse, Eva, and Haley. These ladies are absolutely outstanding. They keep customers informed every step of the way, are always courteous and professional, and truly have our best interests at heart. Their communication and support made all the difference throughout this process. I can't say enough about the level of care, professionalism, and integrity at Atlantic Subaru's service department. They turned what could have been a really stressful situation into a great experience. More
