I think I gave enough time to Atlantic Subaru so that I don’t have to write this review, as originally I would love to give a full 5-star review and have met some good people working for the dealership, bu don’t have to write this review, as originally I would love to give a full 5-star review and have met some good people working for the dealership, but my recent purchase of Subaru Ascent has been terrible. My purchased vehicle on the paper had some accessories installed according to the specification, on the day of vehicle review cargo net has been missing. I did indicate this missing part to the sales associate (Thomas Megan), who even took a note of it and assured item will be present on the day of car pickup/purchase. On the day of purchase item was still missing and dealer didn’t have replacement in inventory. I was told the dealer will order item and it should arrive within 2 business days to my home address. Car got picked and once the deal was closed: sales associate never picked up the phone (though previously before I finalized my purchase he was picking up the phone), never responded to voicemails left and never got back to texts sent. It’s more than a month and a half since I purchased my vehicle: nobody ever contacted me back neither missing accessory arrived in mail. The problem is not with this non-expensive accessory but the disgusting customer relationships experienced during the purchase. I hope nobody will reply to this review offering “give us a call so that we solve your issue” - I gave already enough calls and of my time, and there’s nothing else I should discuss with the dealer. Never back to this dealer anymore. Just quoting Subaru’s vision: “We believe in building lifelong relationships with our customers, earning their trust and exceeding their expectations by providing customer service with integrity and compassion.” - its fair enough that Atlantic Subaru totally failed to comply with. I had a very pleasant experience buying my slightly used Forester at Atlantic Subaru. Devon was my first contact followed by Danielle. Both were very professional and supportive. Which was important since Forester at Atlantic Subaru. Devon was my first contact followed by Danielle. Both were very professional and supportive. Which was important since I had to travel approx. 70 miles to get there. Danielle helped me to negotiate a fair deal and had a lot of patience and knowledge when familiarizing me with the car, since much had changed since I purchased my last Forester in 2013. More
The service department was super busy and I waited a very long time.I had ann appointment. After 2 hrs when I checked progress, they hadn’t even begun. No one let me know. I can only compare this dealership to Mastria. This dealership knocks it out of the park by comparison. That said, Mastria set a very low bar. Terrible. I waited almost a month to get the check for my trade in - they told me it was "in the mail" - I drove down and had to request in person. I cancelled the "tire/wheel" insurance plan on March 9th - confirmed with the insurance co that check was sent to dealer, confirmed with Robert the finance manager that Atlantic received the check - they still haven't sent to me and Robert has not returned repeated calls - for a couple of hundred dollars, they have lost me as a customer and I will tell everyone I know of my bad experience - there are plenty of dealerships - GO ELSEWHERE.
