Linda from the Service department was exceptionally kind and caring!! I actually bought my KIA from a different dealership so this review is just about the service department. When my whole family was on and caring!! I actually bought my KIA from a different dealership so this review is just about the service department. When my whole family was on route to the beach in August, my KIA Sorrento's hybrid system began to fail. I barely made it to the closest KIA (which was Atlantic) and I can't imagine how distraught and worried I looked. It wasn't the KIA I bought it from and I had no appointment. Linda from service was EXCEPTIONALLY kind and caring. She even ordered us a Lift to get back home (a 25 minute drive!). She soon realized that we were out of range for a Lift service so she had one of the KIA employees drive me, my family and our beach gear all the way home. She called me the next morning to give me updates on the car and by the end of the day the problem was completely resolved and she was able to do it under warranty with NO COST to me!!! Not only that but the service department ran my car through the car wash, so I got my KIA back way cleaner than I brought it!! What an amazing experience!! Thank you Linda for all your help and kindness!!!!! More
Had a Saturday appointment, when I arrived I was told the tech was not in and they would keep the car until Monday. I could not leave it there so I brought it back Monday- the car was not seen until THURSDAY tech was not in and they would keep the car until Monday. I could not leave it there so I brought it back Monday- the car was not seen until THURSDAY. It was there for a oil consumption visit, it's third, so I know it's a 90 minute visit. No one called me to update me on anything, I had to call daily. The only offer of sorry was a car wash. The service people have no idea what I go through to drop off/pick up my car, get rides, and take off work. I was not a second thought to them, nor was my car. I got 3 different diagnoses in a 24 hour period. I asked that the tech who worked on my vehicle call me to discuss my car......I'm still waiting. Don't know how to move forward with my vehicle and it's frustrating. Karp Kia, where I bought my vehicle, was like a well oiled machine- I always knew what was going on with my car and and any next steps needed. MUCH IMPROVEMENT NEEDED at this service center. More
