Very deceiving business practices, was lied to, was made promises that weren’t delivered on and they added costs that weren’t supposed to be added and acted like they didn’t know what I was talking. I’ve bought 13 new cars in my lifetime, and this was the most unethical group of individuals I’ve ever dealt with. they’ll make you think they’re doing right by you but once you review the contract after the sale, you’ll realize what they did and then they won’t respond. Unethical Business Practices and Unauthorized Actions On Wednesday, October 9th, I visited Atlantic Kia to discuss purchasing a vehicle. The salesman, Moises, requested that I leave a check “i Actions On Wednesday, October 9th, I visited Atlantic Kia to discuss purchasing a vehicle. The salesman, Moises, requested that I leave a check “in good faith” while they searched for a vehicle that fit my budget. He assured me that we would finalize the deal the next day, Thursday, October 10th. However, on Thursday, I received a text informing me that the salesman was off and that I should come in on Friday to work on the deal. At no point did I sign a buyer’s order, nor was a specific car selected for purchase. The only vehicle discussed had a payment of approximately $1,400 per month, which I clearly stated was beyond my budget. The finance manager then instructed the salesman to find a car that better fit my financial requirements. Due to their delays and lack of communication, I purchased a vehicle elsewhere for significantly less. Despite this, Atlantic Kia continued to run my credit without my authorization, including as recently as today. They also cashed the “good faith” check I left, despite no deal being finalized and no vehicle being chosen. I have attempted to contact a manager on multiple occasions to resolve this issue, but no one has returned my calls. Their actions are both unscrupulous and, in my opinion, tantamount to fraud. They have operated in bad faith, misled me, and taken actions without my consent. More
